  1. That is my next step. I just have to go to the Hobby Shop to get the solvent glue.
  2. Its a near 90 degree curve. I may try taping it again then use a hair dryer to break the tension. I tried some direct heat from my torch but it was too hard to control the amount of heat on the area.
  3. My liquid cement dried up and I didn't have any MEK at the house. So I think I will make a trip to the Hobby Shop tomorrow.
  4. I am attaching to a resin body. I tried it with the thin CA glue but the plastic strips broke when putting the glue on them. Not sure what caused that. I had the strip held in place with tape.
  5. I need to bend some plastic for trim curves over a roof. My solvent based glue has dried and become too thick. I think MEK would work but I don;t have any of that. Any other suggestions?
  6. Interesting. I look forward to the first review of this kit.
  7. Great Build!
  8. Got mine in Dallas, TX today
  9. I bet we get the C8R 1st (maybe only) because they race it in the WEC/LeMans in Europe.
  10. Congrats Jim. The date should make this show a success.
  11. Nice Ismael. Hope they do the C8R in kit form.
  12. Wow. Incredible. I built this car as the 78 Pace Car when they 1st came out. I also have the 78 Silver Anniversary 1:1 in my garage that I have had for 40 years.
  13. Nice. I will be watching too. Need to get mine started to do the Dyno Don version.
  14. Has anyone done a "Virtual" On-Line model car show? If you have is there anything out there like Google to use for people to upload their photos and to allow voting? Thanks in advance for your help.
  15. I haven't notice this happening yet on my account. Although I leave the money in the PayPal account and transfer it to my bank periodically. But the money is always in the PayPal account when I ship??
  16. Kool. Looking forward to the build.
