  1. Thanks everyone for all of your replies. I went with the Tamiya X24 clear yellow acrylic. It looks killer. I will post some pics later today..
  2. Thanks I will try that. Never thought of it.
  3. Thanks. I didn't know that either. I have several of the Detailer colors but not yellow.
  4. Thanks Guys. I must have missed the x24 at the hobby shop when I was there last week.
  5. Anybody know how to make yellow headlights. I looked for clear yellow paint but only found amber for the turn signals.
  6. I got the AC 98 Cobra Le Mans Coupe when it first came out. I still see those on ebay for sale time to time.
  7. Nice job on creating a 63 Merc from the 64.
  8. Have you tried wax? Like you use for the painted bodies.
  9. I thin Model Masters Acrylic with alcohol for my washes. Seems to get the the crevices easier that thinning with water. I haven't tried silver yet.
  10. Excellant. Now to get mine going.
  11. Nice.
  12. Kool. I will have to build a replica of my 1:1 79 Z28 I had. I will use the MPC kit since I didn't have the T-tops.
  13. Bummer. Those boots have pretty tight tolerences so the difference between .016 & .018 are just too much for the boot to slide it on. I might use some acrylic paint to make the boot on the distributor.
  14. Since you are using the pre-wired distributor you should be able to slide the wire through the large side of the boot that settles on the distributor cap.
  15. They should work ok even though they were designed for the .016 wire. If you are having trouble with the distributor boots try putting the wire thought the larger end. That is what I do. On the plug end they are desinged to use RB Motion Turned Aluminum Spark Plugs. If you are not using those us a similar size plastice rod. Then attach the boot to the plug then do the wire.
  16. Bob I just order some yesterday. Now I cam build the Grand Sport/Z06 C7.
  17. Now if we could just Revell to do the Z06/Grand Sport C7 that would be great!
  18. Well done. You really nailed the interior!
  19. Bob what do you recommend for tires on these wheels?
  20. The paint looks great. What colors/brand did you use?
