  1. Good to see this one back in circulation. To bad about the one piece chassis though. I'll take multi piece round assemblies over these any day. If you can't make those square i guess it's time to hand in your glue. But this is welcomed. It looks like most of the pieces from the Ramchargers dragster anyway. Bob
  2. Off Da Hook!! Now the question. What kit is that? It looks like it's ready to leap for petes sake! Bob
  3. That is one BAD little pony. Bob
  4. Thanks Kyle. I appreciate anything you can get Roger. This thing is like the lost tomb or something. Bob
  5. I Googled, I Googled some more.... Then for good measure, I Googled about 20 more times. I cannot for the life of me find ANY decent shots of the motor/tranny/chassis for this beast. I'm doing a sorta quick build on the latest reissue and am adding fuel oil and plug wires only but cannot find any reference on it. Of sure, i get loads of die-casts out the bazooka but not much on the real thing. Anyone hogging a few choice shots??? Bob
  6. Always a great kit built up. No matter how nice [in this case], or how bad they are built I always get a smile forming in my mind. I was a lad when these came out so fond memories are attached. Cool Bob
  7. WOW! first week here and you're hitting em outta the park. We needed another skill guy, your timing was sublime. Bob
  8. Welcome indeed sir. You'll find it hospitable and the dearth of knowledge in these here parts is downright scary. Hope to see a few builds soon. I know i won't laugh. Look at some of mine for a real hoot. Bob
  9. Now THAT is nice!!! Great color and so historic. Bob
  10. Those are nice off year builds but I'm with Lee. Get some BMF and watch em really light up. Great builds all the same. Bob
  11. I agree with Jim. POPS!!!! One day I'll get to mine................... Bob
  12. That s a superb little roadster. What maker is the kit?? Bob
  13. I got one at the MAMA meeting last Sat. There is a little part with an extra instruction sheet that calls out the tranny tailshaft and where to install it. Bob

Color choice is on the money B.... The flawless execution doesn't hurt either.... NICE.. Bob
  15. Geez, what a nightmare to mask. I think the result is just killer! Welcome to the forum. Bob
  16. The absence of the Petty charger is fairly disconcerting. Bob
  17. None of the problems you mentioned are evident. A mark of excellent execution. The color is perfect. Bob
  18. Unusual to say the least. My brother had one with a manual tranny. 2nd gear was bad so he shifted it first to 3rd. What a clunker. This is quite a bit nicer. Bob

Holy Canoli!!!!! That is GORGEOUS! The chrome reverse wheels look absolutely spot on as well. Kinda wishing I hadn't given mine to JustBill..... Stellar build Mi Amigo.... Bob
  20. They are always on eBay as you may know Bill. They go cheap enough if you watch a handful at a time. Keep it on the down low though, we don't want them to become the next Twinkie glut!!!! Thanks to all... Bob
  21. Crickey, that is just straight up stunning! Creative, executed, nailed!!! Bob
  22. So well built and the colors are perfect... I have room on a shelf here for when you tire of looking at it..... Bob
  23. Perfect color choice! This is the nicest build of this kit I've seen yet. I may steal that color choice as I have a can of that paint in the stash.. Bob
  24. I appreciate the Kudos fellas. Just a rundown on the bargain basement paint used. Duplicolor Perfect Match silver, black and clear. Testors leather and wood for the interior with flocking. Various Tamiya Acrylics for the rest. Kit was about 15.00 plus ship I recall and it was sealed... Monogram 1/24 scale from about 1977. Not tough to find great stuff and do it in an OK fashion for short dough. Thanks for the Atta Boys. Bob
  25. A bit of a slumpbuster after taking the summer off as i usually do. This was such a fun build I bought quite a few others in the series off eBay. Built in perhaps non traditional colors with foil trim. OOB these kits are hard to beat. Detailed, they would be contest winners i'm certain. Sorry for the lame background but I'm limited for space these days so the bench must pull double and even triple duties at times. Comments, good or ill are always accepted. Paints are all Duplicolor from either my NAPA store or another local I won't mention since they are the competition.. Thanks for looking. Bob
