Rob Hall replied to tim boyd's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
I’d assume those parts are the same as they have always been. -

Probably a prototype for a variation..there will likely be further performance variants of the Supra...definitely looks like a factory disguised prototype. -
Some sources say he was born in 1944 and graduated high school in '63.

Saw this poor Mustang in my neighborhood this evening, driver took out a light pole and fled the scene. -
What'll be the next pickup from Moebius?

I'd definitely like to see the '61-71 Dodges, as well as '67-72 Chevys and '73-87 Chevy pickups, with more detail and variations than the old MPC or Monogram kits. -
Earlier releases had a roof 'rack' that was a large panel w/ a recessed area in it, like a tub. Nothing like the cross bars that are being added.

Part 71 is shaped like a radiator... -
I wonder if they included a radiator also, the last release didn't have one.

I assume it’s the Petty Dart kit with different decals and box art.

Before the new body, the kit was released as an MPC convertible around 1987.

Yes...it's the MPC '69 that had a new body tooled up about 15 years ago...not very good. Nice box art though.

I'd like the see the Velar kitted..that is a sleek SUV.

.I thought my RV-10(Urban) one was dark green on the box, but I realize now it is black. Molded in white, one version only. I wouldn't mind having a version with the off-road parts. Have to wait and see what is in the reissue.
-
And another one..Italeri's 2019 catalog lists the ex-Esci 2dr stock Range Rover as a reissue this year, though I haven't seen it listed anywhere for preorder.

Speaking of Lexus, I'd love to see a kit of the LC500..it's a car that looks better in person than in photos. Looking forward to the new Supra kit.

Interesting...googling turned up pics from that article and a RHD car (maybe the same car...custom RHD dash). http://www.smcars.net/threads/amc-pacer-circa-1975-rhd.24572/ -
Heh-heh....been there, done that...last month, bought a dozen arborvitae on close out at Wal-Mart and planted on a 90 degree day..then bought 1/2 dozen yews at Home Depot a week later. Digging holes was something I hadn't done since I was a teenager..a new world of pain.

In a container on a ship, probably. -

Out on Kelleys Island (an Ohio island in Lake Erie) yesterday I saw a clean red/cream '55 Chevy Bel Air convertible, a clean yellow w/ black top late 60s-early 70s Jeep Commando, and a couple '59-60 Ford pickups that had been put out to pasture. After taking the ferry back to the mainland, I saw a dark blue Bentley Mullsanne and a dark red Lamborghini Aventador driving through Marblehead. -
Speaking of 'what if' Broncos, i saw a neat custom extended 4dr '60s Bronco in Arizona a few years ago... thought about building something like that out of a couple Revell kits.
