  1. That's what I assume...that has become a common approach w/ Hasegawa to support multiple years and other variations of new releases.
  2. Kids don't build models much anymore, so it doesn't matter. We need full detail versions of the Corvette C7, new Mustang etc for adult builders....I couldn't care less about kids building models...by doing only snap kit versions of modern subjects, Revell is doing adult modelers a disservice...it's an insult to adults that like modern subjects.
  3. That is interesting..don't think I know of a kit of the a 4dr Series III.... I've never had any of the ESCI Land Rover or Range Rover kits, may have to get these. I have the Aoshima Range Rover and Monogram Land Rover...
  4. That's weird...Luc's initial post mentioning page 14 doesn't make sense without page 14 being posted.
  5. Those were unassembled promos. Revell did do full detail C6s though.
  6. It is odd, but it's Revell..their decisions rarely make sense... they haven't even bothered to do a full detail regular C7..or a new Mustang. Or a Challenger Hellcat. They've completely missed the boat with regard to modern American performance cars, with their continuing focus on the older products only..it's sad.
  7. Well, radios are obsolete technology in a world of streaming audio. I can't imagine anyone my age or younger interested in something like that. Not really a good analogy to model kits.
  8. Hmm....2dr Range Rover and 4dr Land Rover...interesting. Old ESCI kits?
  9. I don't see a page 14. I thought it was RoG that was reissuing a Land Rover
  10. I'm glad I got my parts for my MPC annuals when Modelhaus was still in business..I like the Revell kits and the old MPCs also..they have their charm.
  11. I forgot about that later issue of the Daytona.....don't have that one..so maybe they can reissue the 500 at some point..
  12. Look at the original post..from 12 years ago...Reliable Resin has been long defunct.
  13. Yep..have that kit also. And the '76 Nova that was shown stock. RC2 wasn't paying very close attention then...
  14. Not sure, I have that reissue. Scalemates has it listed as 2003, red car on the box w/ 'Buyer Choice' logo. Box art shows steelies w dds, which aren't in the kit IIRC. They also list the F&F kit as 2003.
  15. The thread is from 5 years ago. Nothing to see here...
  16. The 4th gen ('92-14) was body-on-frame also. (pretty similar underneath to the 3rd gen from what I've read).
  17. Yes, good use of The Cars 'Moving in Stereo' in that scene also.
  18. That issue was before the retool for the F&F/DOH version, though, IIRC...500 hasn't been seen since then.
  19. I wonder if the body tooling for the 500 is gone with the last revision. A new 500 body for this or for the Revell '69 would be more interesting IMO...
  20. Haven't seen it in years, good movie...I recall a brown or black Datsun 280ZX and IIRC Judge Reinhold's character drove a '59-60 flattop GM 4dr ht...maybe an Olds?
  21. All have pretty bad potential outcomes.. I've lived on an island, in a city in a desert, and in snowy places, but really never faced anything life threatening...
  22. I had a factory shop manual DVD for my WJ..that was pretty useful, had exploded diagrams as to how things went together. Craziest DIY task I did was back 2009 when I replaced the broken driver's seat track on my WJ--that was a challenge to put it mildly..in a carport on a 105 degree AZ August evening. Took the old seat out, disconnected the connections for the various power seat motors, reconnected to a used seat and track I bought on eBay and got delivered via Fed Ex... only bled a little, stabbing my hand w/ a screwdriver. Don't think I will attempt anything like that again....
  23. I liked Jaws...saw a couple of the Sharknado movies, pretty funny but stupid. I really liked Dead Calm (not a shark movie, but a terror on boats movie).
  24. It's had 2 sequels..those are probably worse.
