  1. Yes, I think we are all quite aware of that...the point I was making is Round 2 doesn’t seem to be using the Lindberg brand much anymore...
  2. They definitely seem to have moved away from it in the last couple of years...on the Round 2 website, they only show 3 Lindberg products--all pirate ship kits. And not much more on the Auto World store site.
  3. IIRC, the 2004 below was the last reissue. I have a few of those. The late 70s 'Countdown Series' reissue was one of my very first AMT kits as a kid...I think it and the Countdown Series '66 Mercury were the first AMT 1/25th scale kits I ever built. I figured this one would get the retro redux treatment eventually. Maybe similar box art to the original annual (2nd pic in yellow).
  4. Yes, at least its only 20 miles...my last move 6 years ago was 2100 miles.
  5. Those look to be a Gone in 60 Seconds Eleanor version w/ the '73 grille and plain hood. The Bond version will be a '71 Mach 1. So at least 3 versions coming maybe...
  6. One of the painters working on my house was driving a GMT-400 that reminds me of one of @Chuck Mosts weathered pickups.
  7. It is what it is...I've been building AMT kits off and on since I was in kid in 1977. Some are better than others, some reissues are cleaned up more than others. Glad to have them all. I have my Tamiyas, Hasegawas, Revells, etc..all comes down to subject matter to me.
  8. My home office/hobby room a few weeks ago…. Bottom pic is today after I’ve boxed up a few kits from the office, in preparation of my upcoming move…
  9. It's an oldie, built a couple of them...I remember it sits low in the rear when built out of the box and the rear bumper is difficult to attach. But it had nice crisp tooling and badging, has the optional 427 cammer w/ lots of chrome parts, and optional race car parts...
  10. Sharp..love those old Ford trucks..
  11. My Dad's '67 Cougar and '69 Mustang are like that...I'm glad I found the keys for them when rescuing them from the barn last year, and didn't have to get them re-keyed like most of my late brother's cars.
  12. I don't think I've ever seen the Rescue one..have one of the previous stock reissues before that..would be a good one to reissue.
  13. Picked up 5 of these so far...one to do stock, one to do off road, and 3 for parts for resin conversions--got a resin crew cab longbed, Blazer/Jimmy and a Suburban recently.
  14. Had to say goodbye to Ginger, who passed at 3:30 am today at age 15 after dealing w/ congestive heart failure for a while. She was the last of our 4 Yorkies, lost Henry less than a month ago. Had her since she was a puppy. This a pic from about 10 years ago. Sweet little dog.
  15. Looking forward to the ‘65 GTO and ‘92 Silverado.
  16. Those are really good looking old trucks..I think I've only seen maybe a half dozen '57-60 Ford pickups in my lifetime..that panel truck would be neat also (maybe a resin caster or 3D crafter will offer one).
  17. They changed it with the reissue, presumably because the AMT pickups have been issued as ‘72s since the 90s.
  18. I was going for brevity, and generalizing. Just like the fogeys do about saying modern vehicles all look the same.
  19. Except today it would be there's a gray one and a white one, and a silver one and a black one... Not a new idea, I'm sure some people said cars all looked the same at other points in time...like the late 30s to late 40s--humpy-lumpys that all looked much the same, or the late 20s-early 30s..
  20. Some GEO products were Suzuki (Metro and Tracker), Isuzu (Storm), and Toyota (Prizm).
  21. My guesses: Brand new: '21-22 Challenger Hellcat to go w/ the '21 Charger clone: MPC '71 Dodge Demon
  22. Such it is...vehicles are only going to get heavier as EVs become more widespread... can't go back in time. Reality keeps moving into the future.
  23. I didn’t say anything about Camaros. Just commenting about where the NUMMI plant is, which came up because of mention of GM’s efforts with Toyota-based models (Nova and Vibe). Maybe Espo was conflating NUMMI with Van Nuys.
