  1. Another vintage Mopie for my stash arrived from eBay. Unpainted, complete except for missing the instructions and stock wheels and tires. Plan to use some Iceman big and little 70s style wheels and tires.
  2. Probably in the same price range as previous Möeibus Mopar race car kits and out at some point in the future.
  3. Haven't opened it yet, but I assume it's a variation of the 4dr they released a few years ago. Different body style.
  4. Got a couple new releases in the mail today.
  5. The burger chains I miss from living in the SW are In and Out, Fatburger, and Habit Burger... though I do have plenty of good local burger joints here in the Cleveland area.
  6. Yeah, the largest American regular cars were about 235 inches or 19 feet and change. The only cars over 20 feet were limos like Cadillac Fleetwood 75s, Crown Imperials, etc…
  7. Gorgeous...my favorite year of RR
  8. I've experienced both...depends a lot on the seller... if it's one of the 3rd party sellers, the packaging is sometimes sketchy. I got a bottle of liquid laundry detergent in a mailer bag once...was a leaky mess.
  9. Don't recall if I've ever bought models on Amazon. Been a Prime customer for ages, a customer for 25+ years... great selection of household stuff, groceries through Whole Foods, and I love the Prime video channels for streaming. Though I can find better products at my local Ace Hardware or Home Depot for some stuff, been disappointed w/ garden hoses, nozzles, etc from Amazon. As far as how they treat employees, I’ve talked with a few recruiters from Amazon, have a couple friends that have worked for them, and it’s sort of a big company mixed with a startup mindset in their software engineering departments (where I would fit in at Amazon—their AWS systems). Lots of long hours. They pay quite well, Silicon Valley wages…
  10. Saw a really sharp '68 Impala Custom Coupe in a dark burgandy, low-rider style on wires...very clean.
  11. No..though large contemporary SUVs like her Navigator are very easy to drive...power everything...the idea of driving something like that without power everything is unimaginable.
  12. Thanks for sharing..I'll have to take note of the Akron and Zanesville ones.
  13. My mother, who was 4'11", drove a '68 Cougar w/ a 3spd manual, manual drum brakes, and manual steering often well into her 60s. But she also liked creature comforts--she had a series of Cougars and Thunderbirds from the 1970s through the 1990s.. Her last car, though, was a hefty '05 Lincoln Navigator w/ power everything and power steps.
  14. Something that obscure would be a perfect subject for a resin caster or 3D printer..wouldn't happen as a regular kit. I remember The Modelhaus made a '57 Dodge 2dr sedan, don't recall if they did a '59.
  15. Pretty sure the '75-77 Ventura was retooled into the ‘78 Nova, which then became the ‘79 Nova and has been reissued since it was the last version of that tool.
  16. Nice kit. I built the first release when it first came out, molded in an off-white.
  17. Sharp..did you have to narrow the chassis and interior? I've found some of TMP bodies seem too narrow at the rockers to fit donor chassis..
  18. My late older brother became my enemy... after our mother died in 2016 it got messy, had to take him to court for probate of her estate and had a restraining order against him for a while...he was an angry, violent hermit in his later years, wouldn't take his anti-schitzophrenic medication. I try and remember the times we did get along 30+ years ago and the fun we had at car shows and fooling around w/ his vintage cars, listening to classic rock music. Ironically, 'Buddy' was his nickname forever... Our older sister, on the other hand, is probably my best friend. We get along great and understand each other's hobbies and interests and careers..
  19. I think those may be the optional side window b-pillars for the '68 Road Runner kit..part 49 looks like an armrest for an interior door panel?
  20. Redline Resins makes a ‘77 Caprice 2dr. I have one. It’s a bit rough, but not bad. Needs some cleanup.
  21. I've built several over the years, never really noticed...looks like a Ford V8 to me...better than the '70 Galaxie kit which inexplicably has a Boss 429..
  22. As a ‘69, it should be a 429…
  23. I'm glad I have the Jo-han kits that I have, I particularly like their Cadillacs and Oldsmobiles...along w/ the AMCs and Mopars. This Powell truck is of no interest to me, weird and obscure, a really odd choice (I guess he went with it because the licensing was easy?).
  24. Yeah, these suburban deer...both of the suburbs I've lived in here (Cleveland, Oh area) have been full of deer. I went from a quarter acre lot to almost 2 acres backing up to a park, so lots of woods for them...fine with me, I enjoy watching them.
