AMT 1959 Cadillac Ambulance First Look
Rob Hall replied to martinfan5's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
My comment was in regards to Luc’s comment about modern ambulances. On the other hand, something linked to a tv show from 50 years ago seems like it would be more viable…built-in audience and all… -
Hopefully they will do with the C-10 as they did with the F-series…short bed, long bed, step side, 4x4…

A very niche item that probably wouldn't sell enough to justify the tooling cost. -
More new car deliveries

Interesting. Been to that mall a couple times when I was in the area. -
Neat...new stuff to look forward to.

Maybe it will have a choice of roof lights? The box art shows the squared lights as seen in the Surf Shark kit, while the builtup has rounded light pods. -
AMT The Green Hornet Black Beauty Kit

1. Probably not. 2. The only modern kit that would be close that I can think of is the AMT '57 Chrysler 300 chassis. -

Besides Rolls Royce, Lincoln did briefly with a low volume version of the Continental a few years ago. -
I've been to a lot of concerts over the last 30+ years.hard to narrow down to one. Built that one as a kid. I liked the color it was molded in

Looks like a ‘23 Mach 1. RHD Mustangs of the S550 generation were sold in the UK from ‘15 on I believe. Don’t know if the new S650 will be. -
Saw him in concert here in Cleveland a few nights ago. Excellent 3hr concert...performed 11 songs from the new i/o album and 11 classics. Love the new material. Quite the audio/visual performance. IMG-0721.MOV

I’ve never seen a Gullwing on the street, but saw two black ones together (one tan interior, one red) at a Concours show and a silver one IIRC in a museum. -
Yesterday really felt like fall...about 60 degrees, rainy, gray skies and lots of leaves in color. Supposed to be sunny and 72 today. I have to travel for work to Dallas next week, supposed to be in the 90s there.

I'm looking forward to that show..it will be nice to have one close to home. I went to the one in Zanesville last Saturday, but that was almost 5 hrs driving round trip.

I’ve never had the MPC Shelby Charger, but built the Monogram back in the day. Snagged an MPC ‘81 Omni 024 and ‘83 Charger 2.2 kit recently, will be fun to compare the kits and the differences.

Got a 3D printed Vector and a restorable MPC ‘69 Dodge Coronet R/T. Chrome is good, has a hole in the hood and missing some engine parts.

Interesting...so the 2.2 in the later kits isn't a 2.2. I think I might get one and do something weird like stuff a Hellcat V8 in it.

Hmmm...they do have the MPC '71 Demon coming, which hasn't been seen since the early 70s. As far as late 70s, not sure. The '77 Vega annual became the '78 Monza S which became the 'Twister Vega', so a stock Vega would require some retooling..as far as a Monza 2+2, that was last released in '81 as the 'Long Shot'..
