  1. At the show yesterday vendors had them for around $32-$35 IIRC. I've seen them on eBay anywhere from $30 to $40.
  2. A '59 grille and hood would be nice to see, better looking than the busier '60 grille, IMO. One thing I noticed in searching for images of these trucks is the huge gaps between the grille and hood...made that way, apparently. ('59 in red & white, blue & white '60)
  3. Both are restorable..the Torino has some glue damage on the decklid, the Monaco has the hood glued shut, unpainted, good chrome..it's a '78 (year on plates)...maybe the Force 440 kit built w/o the police gear..
  4. Windy, springy/wintry weather coming back from Columbus on I-71 today--snow flurries/whiteout/sun/rain..the only unusual car I saw was a '72 Dodge Coronet in black w/ white doors and roof...like an old school police car w/o any markings.
  5. Went down to the Buckeye Classic show today and got a few old models to add to the stash. The 72 GTO is a parts kit, I need the interior and roof to repair one I built as a kid 40 years ago.
  6. I want to build one with that scoop and the intake tubes…
  7. I remember Fisk and Cooper. My Dad had Fisk on his ‘67 Cougar and Coopers on his ‘69 Mustang at one time…
  8. Looks nice at first glance. Crisp. White wall tires, slicks, choice of stock wheel covers or Cragar GT wheels (not often seen), just like the annual IIRC. Stock hood and hood w/ hole and big scoop. Have to dig out my annual ht & convertible and compare.
  9. Mine came today. Haven't opened them yet.
  10. Driving down in the morning. Should be fun.
  11. This is 1/25th and based on the original AMT annuals. And has a chassis w/ everything molded in.
  12. Beautiful color. Saw a ‘66 convertible at a car show once in that color with a matching interior. Lots of great colors on the early Mustangs. Vintage Burgundy is a favorite of mine.
  13. One caster niche that I do miss are the chromed original kit reproduction parts that the Modelhaus did so well...their wheel covers, bumpers, etc were very nice to have available for restoring vintage kits and promos. No one else is really in that niche...
  14. Got an email that mine shipped today, hopefully have by Friday or Saturday.
  15. Yeah, all I can think of..the Johan '77-79 promos had non-wire style wheel covers IIRC.
  16. Haven’t thought about doing a swap on one of mine, but the chassis, engine, etc from a ‘72 GTO should work.
  17. Diolex in Ukraine casts some they sell on eBay. I have a couple sets to use on '80s Cadillacs. They advertise them as '73-76 style, but they seem close to the 80s style. https://www.ebay.com/itm/255893200297?hash=item3b946c5da9:g:QfIAAOSwkWVjk1nJ
  18. Sharp build...love those '70s-80s MPC pickups.
  19. Impressive craftsmanship..been following since the beginning.
  20. Got two of them today, they look good. 4 choices for wheelcovers/wheels, 10 tires, etc.
  21. AMT did a variety of promos of unusual subjects in the early 50s, don't think it was until '58 that they had what we think of as regular annual kits? I've seen a few of the early 50s promos like this Pontiac in antique stores, usually warpey and pricey.
