  1. Nice selection of kits.. my late brother had a 1:1 Honda CB750F in his cycle collection. Sharp bike.
  2. Looking forward to seeing them in person...just got a shipment notice on my two that I'd preordered from Model Roundup.
  3. I see in that list above the stock '59 Cadillac ambulance that had previously been speculated on. Nice
  4. Had to say goodbye to Henry yesterday. He's always been a good boy. He had a good life in Arizona and Ohio, had just turned 17 and his health had been declining for quite a while. Here's a pic from a couple years ago when he was healthy.
  5. Must be extra taxes or duties.. w/ the exchange rate, $60 CDN is 43.63 USD, which would be high in the US.
  6. I am surprised they haven't given the '66 the Retro Deluxe treatment yet...been quite a while since the '66 ht or convertible have been reissued.
  7. Found this article, shows the quarter window style of the yellow one as an option.. those headlight covers also in one pic...seems like a lot of variations The 1969 Gazelle / Amante GT (Hebina Plastics / Voegele Industries) | Undiscovered Classics
  8. Looks a lot like this...different quarter window shape, but the door, door window opening, profile is very similar...
  9. Post or no post.. the thread continues.
  10. Played the game, we did.
  11. No idea, but the hobby seems to be thriving in my view.. a lot going on...
  12. Over the last 25 years, I've been able to pretty much find most everything that I might consider a grail. Still have a list of old kits that I wouldn't mind acquiring, mostly Johan late 60s AMCs, a few early 70s MPCs.
  13. Neat..wondered about that..I have a builtup '60 Thunderbird convertible that was missing the engine (and other parts)...I think I put a parts box 390 in it years ago...have a '60 Buick ht (engine missing) and a rough '60 Ford F100 (has the original engine).
  14. Never seen one of the early SMP/AMT Corvette kits..did the '60 Corvette annual have an engine or was that added later?
  15. Those early 80s boxes with the bathroom tile are so dull…
  16. It could be someone working in that building, maybe a security guard or someone from property management...I don't go down that street that often..not sure if it's always there..
  17. These videos always seem to be a month off...looking forward to the '68 Coronet, '68 GTO, '66 Mustang and '81 Chevy pickup this month...
  18. It was unusual to see, given that it is 60 years old. First noticed it there about a month ago, has current registration sticker on the rear plate. It’s behind an empty office building that has for lease signs..
  19. Spotted this rusty ‘63 Imperial in a parking lot.
  20. This is a rebox of the Lindberg ‘67 in a AMT retro style box.
  21. Seriously, got to wonder why you post stuff like this here. Is it to show off your grumpy old know-it-all persona, to act faux-outraged?
  22. Yes. Retro box art makes no sense on something recent like this.
  23. So true...I deal with this often in my professional life. Assumptions, complexities, unexpressed but implied requirements, etc...
  24. Like it or not, that does seem to happening...maybe younger generations entering the production side of the aftermarket take to 3DP quicker than resin casting..not sure. The market is evolving.
  25. I wasn't even referring to home 3D printing--I was referring to the amount of product available printed from various sources (sellers on eBay, Shapeways, sellers w/ their own websites, etc). I haven't gotten into home 3D printing yet--may do that down the road..though since I spend my workday building computer software not sure if I want to muck around w/ more software in my free time. Interesting times...
