  1. Maybe. I’d just use the chassis and engine from the usual ‘65 GTO that’s been reissued over and over if I want an engine.
  2. Yeah, there is nothing to see under the hood of the new Bronco, so I’m fine with it being a curbside.
  3. Yeah. The one with the blue truck on the top of the box. That’s the 89, and the 90 (white w/ custom parts on top). I noticed autocorrect changed ‘longbeds’ to ‘longbows’..
  4. Lots of good stuff to look forward to this year.
  5. Well, the original '88 longbed box art said only 'Silverado', the '89 and '90 longbeds said 'Silverado C1500', the '90 stepside said 'C1500' as did the SS454...so they are more-or-less consistent..
  6. Nice weather today…unusual for it to be 65 and sunny (but windy) in NE Ohio in early February…drove w/ my sunroof open enjoying the fresh air. Went to my local Ace Hardware, they have topsoil, mulch and fertilizer back in stock. Made me happy…a ways to go towards Spring and more winter to come, but something to look forward to.
  7. I saw an unbuilt original on eBay..priced a bit higher than the recreation will be, though.
  8. I love the loop front bumper of the ‘71/72. Just a really good looking car. Probably my favorite Plymouth B-body.
  9. First pic is Raine (left) and Ginger while I’m watching TV. Second is Beardsley. Third is Henry and Ginger. Henry and Ginger are senior Yorkies, he’s 16 going on 17 and Ginger is 14 going on 15. Had her since she was a puppy. Both are frail and have numerous health issues. Raine (reddish Australian terrier mix) and Beardsley (gray Chi-terrier mix) were a bonded pair adopted in Phoenix in 2014. They are 9 and 10 now. We had 6 dogs when moved back to Ohio in 2017, two senior Yorkies have passed since then.
  10. It’s been a while since the ‘80 was last out. Probably close to 20 years ago or more, and it was a limited release then, IIRC.
  11. Whomever made the box mock-up probably marked it as 1/24th for consistency since the other kits in the RoG Bond series are 1/24th.
  12. Love those ‘71/72 Plymouths. Would definitely to see them reissued. Built the yellow ‘71 RR reissue back in ‘88, found a few more of those and a couple ‘71 RR annuals, along w/ the ‘71 GTX and ‘72 RR about 20 years ago on eBay.
  13. Not since the mid 70s. The video shows the hood molded in, and he mentions early in the video it can be cut out.
  14. The Street Machine version of the ‘68 El Camino apparently had mini tubs in the rear, or so I’ve heard. I’ve only had the stock version so I don’t know.
  15. I am wondering what pickup they are issuing. They have a photo of a 1:1 stock Chevy fleetside 4x4, which the old Revell kit definitely isn’t. There is the Chevy 4x4 stepside which was reissued a few years ago and the GMC fleetside 4X4 (both Monogram 1/24th). Could make a Chevy fleetside easily enough with a grille swap…
  16. Note that it says CJ-7. Just a reissue of the Monogram CJ-7, I’d assume. And the photo of a 1:1 they used is straight from the Wikipedia article on the CJ-7.
  17. In the future.
  18. Reminds me, I have a builtup '60 Edsel convertible kit that has a '61 Impala interior and chassis...got it in a collection about 30 years ago in decent shape.
  19. Lots to look forward to from Round 2...looking forward to the Coronet convertible, '66 Mustang, the reissue of the '66 T-Bird (looks like it has some new/restored parts), the Sodbusker pickup, the GTO recreations, etc..
  20. Different trim levels. The lower trim had 2 headlights, the higher trim had 4 headlights...
  21. 1981
  22. So with the usual delays, the GTO and Mustang probably won’t be out until March or later..
  23. There is a kit of the TDF Pointer from one of the Japanese kit makers, I think.
