  1. Older resin casters have been retiring or otherwise shutting down for several years now, and we are seeing the rise of new makers of 3D printed product. There is a vast amount of parts and kits now available aa 3D printed products that weren't available a few years ago... the aftermarket is evolving. As with any aftermarket product, the time to buy is when you see it available if you want it and can afford it, as there is no guarantee it will be available later.
  2. By phrasing it as they did, they have plausible deniability. Or deniable plausibility...whichever applies.
  3. My late Mother had dementia the final years of her life, rejected any help from my sister or I (we were living 2000+ miles away) and was dependent on my schizophrenic older brother...both of them would not communicate w/ us and were hostile towards us in their final years.. they are both gone now (Mom in 2016, brother last year), and it's sad. Have lots of good memories but wonder what I could have done differently.
  4. Does seem a bit odd..the 'About Us' talks about clothing for the style of each season. The wording sounds like it was generated by a bot. The Contact Us shows an address in LaCrosse, WA.
  5. Because the BTTF kits probably sold 10x what a stock one would sell. Without the movies, the DeLorean would have been forgotten long ago…
  6. Tower Hobbies has it listed as a June release, but given how unpredictable release dates are, I'd say 2nd or 3rd quarter 2023 is a good guess...
  7. I think this is a reference to the '65 Chevelle AWB funny car announced a while back..nothing to do with a movie.
  8. Yeah, that's fake box art that's been going around the internet for a couple of years...don't think it's anything official.
  9. I was talking about normal retail...not down with the club stuff..
  10. Model Roundup has the Blaney Menards Mustang available for preorder now...supposed to be available in March.
  11. I remember the 1/18th '71 Road Runner ERTL American Muscle they did maybe 20 years ago, back when I collected 1/18th diecast...this is presumably a variation of that tooling.
  12. There was talk a couple years ago about a B/FX version. This whole list is questionable, given the typos and that most of the kits listed have already been released or announced.
  13. The silver one’s paint scheme in the show reminds me of ads for the GMC pickup of that era.
  14. Be what it may, often it is what it is.
  15. Count the hours spent in work meetings every week.
  16. So the Ford-branded cars in NASCAR today still have 'Ford' based engines, and are not just a generic power unit? I haven't paid close attention to NASCAR in years... they have a spec chassis but not a spec engine apparently..
  17. I went to a car wash across the street from the local Ollies today, but didn't go in...interesting, nothing I need there, but those Revell kits mostly look like items from 10 years ago or more (going by the box art style)...I remember getting the Mustang Cobra in that style box art at least 10 years ago.. Edit: scrolled back and read some of the posts in this thread from the last few days, explains the above...
  18. ‘Fast 111s’ were a line of 1/64th diecast by Kenner in the early 80s, their gimmick were unique license plates. These 1/32nd snap kits were cross branded product with MPC. Vaguely remember them. Supposedly there were 4 in the series.
  19. Probably could modify the glass and chassis from the Revell '15 or '18 snap kits...since the 1:1 S650 is an evolution of the S550..
  20. I've had a few of these over the years...currently have two in my home office..one at my work desk and one at my hobby table. Very adjustable and comfortable.
  21. Got my order from Jan 18th today. No problems, just under a month.
  22. What I’ve read is the long bed regular cab pickup became the USA-1 monster truck and its chassis was changed.
  23. Perhaps. Maybe they will do a 2nd full detail version w/ the engine like they did with the ‘63 Nova wagon.
  24. First post in the thread about the '64 Olds Cutlass convertible.
  25. I figured 14 or 15, didn’t look it up but most 60s American cars had wheels of those sizes.
