I think so...looks like these kinda.. Though I'm used to seeing these wheels below also on Charger police cars, like the Ohio Highway Patrol ones.

Nice..must not be too far off then.

Maybe it will be set in 2022, and Frank Bullitt will drive a dark green Mustang Mach-e and the villains a black Hellcat Charger... that would be cool.

I built the Thunder Z kit as a kid and built to look just like the box art...still have it, got to dig it out take a pic. Left it as is. Looking forward to the stock '81 kit, never had that one.

What did you see on the road today?

Looks like a '64 Pontiac -
The Powell pickup is a very obscure subject...can't imagine it selling very many copies.

I remember as a teenager building this kit when it came out and disappointed it had the engine and interior carried over from the '83 and didn't match my 1:1 '87 GT. Picked up another one last summer, unbuilt and cheap.

Wouldn't surprise me if that one comes back eventually, along w/ the Indy Drag Combo w/ the Chevy II wagon and Chevy II drag coupe.

My Grand Cherokee owners manual is packaged like that, even has its own shelf in the glovebox. I think I’ve only looked at it once in 5+ years…

Round 2 November 2022 Product Spotlight

I think that was one of the largest selling cars in the US at one time. Robert Burns' Too Many Projects is a good source for 3D printed colonnades. -
It's a '56, I'd assume it's the old 1/24th Monogram full detail kit. The only '57 Thunderbird snap kit in the RoG catalog I know of was a 1/32nd Revell..

Would be pretty much a totally new tool...not much about the NASCAR car kit is stock. -

I have the most recent reissue of the pickup/woody and it definitely has is a 4dr body. Wondering what's up w/ the Coke version...fanciful art work, or new parts? -

Never had that kit, but have to get it for my older sister..she's a huge fan of the Monkees... -
Got two in the mail today...one has a mashed box--body fine, the other box fine, but the a-pillars slightly bent. Argghh..

The Star Trek shuttlecraft w/ figures looks fun. The '29 woody/pickup Coca-Cola variant is curious..the regular release I have has a 4dr woodie body, but this looks like a 2dr woody body w/ solid panels in place of the windows.. -
Jeep J-10 Honcho grille help!
Rob Hall replied to Faust's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
That was a random photo off the internet. I think it's a '79-80, because '79 was when they introduced the square headlight grille but it still has the old style roof w/ the overhang (which the Revell kit does not have). The Revell kit appears to be a mix of model years--81 and newer body w/ a '79-80 grille. -
Jeep J-10 Honcho grille help!

'kit grill' meant the part in the kit. The square headlights are correct for an early 80s Honcho. -
After 5 1/2 years of ownership, I did make one small exterior modification to my Jeep--got a set of Westin 4" step rails installed. Turned out nice.

There was also a light blue one briefly at the end of 'Bullet Train', driven by Sandra Bullock's character.

The two-piece Asian market style ones are good. The soft one-piece RoG ones are no bueno.
