On other forums it was said this was an 'all-new' kit.
The 1:1 must have had two different engine builds..some of the pics I've seen show a hood w/ portholes down the middle.
Very odd about the box art for the '10' Camaro convertible..there was no '10 Camaro convertible--it came out for '11, and the photos are of the European-spec 1:1 '11--note the larger mirrors and wide number plates...
I think this is the simplified snap kit version of the turbine car, not the full detail. The full detail one I built in the '80s had some very thin pieces and lots of flash..
I just noticed the Revell Chevy van is listed as 1:24th...was this originally a Monogram kit? I remember the version from the '90s w/ the race car trailer, but not before that..
What's wrong w/ the AMT '51 Chevy kit hood?
The clear tree has what looks like the hardtop window piece...hmmm....maybe they are saving the hardtop and uptop for the 2nd issue?
Looking forward to seeing the AMT van again also..I built one version of it as a kid in the '70s (called 'KandyVan' IIRC) and the reissue of the A-Team version.
Short bed fleetside. Looks like the snow plow parts are new.
Lotsa reissues, but a few that I can use seconds of, like the Caddy lowrider and GMC pickup. I've never had the Revell Chevy van--how does it compare to the AMT of the same era? The Corvettes look interesting, as does the '50 Olds and '57 Ford.
I went to a nice little car event at Laguna Seca Raceway in California this past weekend. Saw a lot of interesting Porsches. Some incredible historically significant race cars there.
