So let me get this straight

Yes, and I pay everything electronically...maybe write 1 check every 2 months or so...when I take notes at work on a notepad it's often illegible, so I usually take my laptop to all my meetings... -

I see the point in de-emphasizing cursive writing... I really haven't written anything more than my signature 'long hand' in probably 20+ years...used computers throughout college and grad school back in the day. -
Bingo...I don't care for small cars, and especially dislike 4cyls and FWD. I've been very happy w/ my Jeep Grand Cherokee...it's not very big as far as SUVs go, but very capable off road (I've done a bunch of that) and excellent on-road. I try and stick w/ the domestics (though I've had a BMW and a Mercedes in the past). I like the Charger R/T and 300C quite a bit.. When I was shopping for my new daily driver, I wanted quiet, smooth, comfortable and loaded. Almost got a 300C but went for a Cadillac instead. Very happy w/ my choice. My friends and colleagues drive Priuses and other FWD appliances, they are happy w/ them..but I like a hefty, solid American car. Choice is good. Kept my Jeep for winter use (will need when I leave AZ). In a few years, I do want another fun weekend car (still have my '87 Mustang GT), I may go for the new Mustang Boss 302..though the Camaro and Challenger are pretty appealing also.

Maybe it will be something like this, with a supercharged 312 -
I like the current Charger R/T...test drove one a few weeks ago along w/ the Chrysler 300C when I was car shopping. I've also driven the Mustang GT, Camaro SS, and Challenger R/T...find all of them interesting...what I'd really like to try is the Mustang Boss 302. I've had 3 Mustangs over the years, and may get another one for my next fun car in a year or two..

Looks very well packaged....that instruction sheet looks great.

I haven't built it yet...just opened it and looked at the parts. I believe it's a reissue of a kit from the '80s or '90s.. -

Very nice kit...I got it and the SLS AMG kit for my birthday a couple months ago. -

I doubt if they would use any parts from the old Ranchero kit...I would assume this is an all-new tool. -

Good point...I used it throughout college and grad school, but that was 20 years ago...(which makes me feel old typing that).. -

They need to update 'Elements of Style' to include emoticon etiquette... -
Yeah, could be a nice companion for the Black Window Chevy 150. If they do it full detail, a supercharged 312 would be a nice option. There was a black one of those in Hemmings Classic Cars magazine in the last 6 months or so, pretty interesting car.

It will be interesting to see what Revell announces this fall...

No idea..I don't build planes.

I looked at the Probe GT back in '94 after my Mustang LX was totalled, ended up getting a Bronco instead. -
From the Revell website: Revell has invested in new tooling for products like assembly-ready SnapTite® models, including Ferrari®, Star Wars® kits for science fiction fans, and classic cars and planes for nostalgia buffs. Among the latter you'll find '57 Ford® Tudor, '50 Oldsmobile® Coupe and Ventura bomber models coming in 2012. Key word is the 'and' before 'classic cars'.

The Scirocco's been in production a couple years, just not sold in the US...looks like a low-roof Golf. I've also seen rumors that the Cruze will add a 2dr coupe or 3dr hatch in a couple years also.. -

I wonder if some sort of small FWD Ford sporty coupe could work again..there has been buzz of a Capri revival in Europe (based either on the Focus or the next-gen Mondeo/Fusion). In the US Ford only has 1 2dr currently (Mustang). GM abandoned the small coupe market when they went from the Cobalt to the Cruze, Chrysler has nothing like that...only the Accord, Civic, Altima, Koup and Eclipse coupes are left (and the Eclipse is going soon). (the Genesis is RWD). -
Actually, it's on Revell's website...so it's easy to find with a little effort. Apparently, for 2012 they are planning on releasing a '50 Olds 88 and a '57 Ford Tudor, as Snap Tite kits. And likely a Ferrari FF (which I assume will be a RoG kit).

I haven't seen a Probe in years...I have a buddy that used to have a 2nd gen GT...they were pretty nice. Trivia--The 3rd gen was called the Mercury Cougar (Ford Cougar in Europe). -
Yes, I saw it last night on that other site..

Proper punctuation, grammar, and spelling are essential to effective communication, whether in writing or on the internet. Also, use of IM/Chat style speak ('u' for you, 2 for 'to', etc) is really annoying.... -
Ah, yeah..the new Revell releases mentioned in passing on the Revell website....interesting stuff..
