Yes, the paint is a little heavy, but you are miles ahead of where I was on my fourth paint job. As a matter of fact, one of my recent paint jobs looked very similar. Lol. It is a great color for that car though and a fantastic kit. Keep it up. It will turn out good. Later-

I was begining to wonder what happened to this kit. I agree. Shame on you for not showing us the body. I like what you've dine on the interior. It looks great. I can't wait to pick up a few of these. Later-

Thanks for the quick tutorial on t&r. I'll have to give that a try once I find something to make a mold of. BTW- that interior looks great. Later-

Simply beautiful. I am curious about your tuck and roll process. Can you elaborate or do you have a link to a previous build that explains it. I like to.do t&r but it does not always come out looking good. With your abilities I know it will work. Later-

I've had those "daily driver" problems too. I've always lived in snow country and had to deal with what you have. I have a Escort wagon right now. About a year ago it had a broken rear strut and I just happened upon a guy a couple of.miles away who was willing to give me a few bricks for a walkway. I hauled home 142 bricks with my car! My old Tempo that I owned had a permanent scuff on the dash from where my 8 ft 2X4's came through the trunk with the rear seat folded down and rested on the dash. Later-

Mike- I like the detail that you are puting into this build. The scratchbuilt wing looks good and suits the car well. I always liked this body style of Porsche but have never had one of the kits. I'be always stuck with the 911' s as they are my favorite. Keep it up. Later-

Beautiful. And I also love the wheels on this build. Later-

Nice looking job, for her first one. Great looking interior. Is that a devalued that she printed or is it painted? What's her next build going to be? Later-

Got some more done today. I spent the day looking through my parts boxes and kits for parts to complete this. I used a piece of computer speaker grilles painted with flat black as mesh in the lower dam. I cut circles of BMF for the headlight buckets and found various headlights to fill in the six lights. Now I need to get some clear plastic to form headlight covers. I also managed to scrounge up a shifter lever and possibly some other interior pieces. That's it for today. Later-

The grille is pretty easy to make. I bought a sheet of the smallest corrugated plastic I could find. I think that it was v- groove with the grooves about 1/32 apart. The grooves give the rod something to sit in and helps to keep the spacing. Here is what I bought it for. I used it to make the grille on my custom Mustang. Later-

Got the grille finished, with the exception of the Alclad. I think I am finished for the night. Comments and criticisms welcomed. Later-

Ready for the brass rod. I also added a small decal from the Revell RSX kit to help hide the break in the front air dam. I tried to find one with a vertical line to cover the break. The J in this one does rather fine. Later-

Tonight I am sitting at the dining room table, sucking on a bottle of suds and working on making a grille for the Lexus. After I get the quarter round glued around the perimeter I will make some grille bars from brass rod. Thanks to Customsrus I have some wheels like the red ones, but in chrome, on the way. I'll have to get some red anodized paint to shoot them with. Later-

That is a nice looking kit of a fine car. Great work on the interior. Keep it up. Later-

A Lexus. That will work. Thanks for the info. Mike- Thanks for the link to your build and the warning. Yours is looking great. You need to get back to it. I don't know how long ago my buddy started these but he has gotten out of the euro stuff and gave them to me to finish. The chin of the Lexus has a break right in the bottom center of it that I will have to repair. Unless he finds more parts to these I will have to make do with what I have. So these could.become very basic shelf models. Later-

Here is what the wheel looks like. I need two. They can be chrome too, if that is what you have. I am not sure if these were sprayed with red anodizing paint by my friend. PM me and let's do a trade so I can get this finished. Later-

I have a great friend who is always hooking me up with parts and kits. Yesterday he passed these on to me to finish up. Since they are both curbsides and are mostly finished I'm hoping that it won't take lonig. I will be starting on them on Saturday. I gave the bodies a good bath today while on break at work. I think that they are both Aoshima or Fujimi kits.First up is a Nissan Skyline. Next is what looks to me to be a Mercedes. I'm already thinking of changing the wheels on the Mercedes to these- if I can find two more. If you have any wheels like these without the chrome center cap, (I added those) please let me know and we can do a trade. Later-

That's going to be a good color for it. Later-

Yes, nice start. This kit was one of my favorite builds. I squeezed a 428 into mine. What color are you thinking of? Later-

Man, I finally found the CBP for me!! All of my builds are stalled in some form or another. I had a friend over the other night and we were going through my stash. I have in- progress builds that go back 24 years (69 Rampage Camaro) I have been focusing on a couple lately to get them finished. They are a 50 Ford Sedan and a 41 Chevy pickup. I am also working on a 51 Chevy. I am going to a buddy's house tonight to build. I'll take some photos to post. Later-

Mach1- That is gorgeous! Beautiful paintjob that you did. I'd be proud of that. Later-
