  1. Oh yeah, I mean they do also have the separate hood and trunk lids, so at least the body is pretty much set up to be a glue kit later on so it's not a bad investment. The '71 is a good kit too and is much needed with the previous offerings, I will give them that. The C8 Corvette is a newer subject and is also a multi piece kit so they aren't strictly focusing on older subjects for new tool kits either. I will say I do have enough kits to last me a couple decades (at this rate 😆) so it's not like I am itching for something to buy!
  2. Look, I have nothing wrong with them making snap kits for the younger crowd to get them interested. I’m still caught up on the fact that they have not released a full detail kit of a modern Mustang in over a decade. Hopefully one is in the works if this sells enough, but I’m not holding my breath with their track record lately. Looking at my list, the last new-tool Revell kits I bought were the 90s Mustang LX and the 80s Cutlass, any others have been reissues. The new tool Blazer/Jimmy are nice, but I’ve already started a conversion of the AMT/MPC GMC pickup. Basically, Revell has not put out much of anything “new” that has interested me lately.
  3. My guess, between $30 and $40
  4. It's especially puzzling since the Mustang has been sold in Europe since 2015 and seems to be somewhat popular there.
  5. It’s hard to believe that the “largest” US model manufacturer has not had a large parts count glue kit of one of the most iconic cars in the US in over a decade!
  6. Isuzu and faster, two words that don’t exactly go together!
  7. Woo, another low parts count New Mustang kit…
  8. Why don't they just say "kits that don't come with engines out of the box"? My kit with the hood closed is the same thing, regardless of whether it has an engine or not.
  9. Like the square body trucks? 😁
  10. Oh yeah the decal sheet, I see they listened to me and added a few of the factory optional Xtreme stripes! 😆
  11. Honestly they could make the "small back window" an insert for the cab if they want to make a '67. Side markers could just be decals so that wouldn't matter.
  12. Is there a reason you went the Euro taillight route for the 1/25 scale? 😆
  13. Sucks they went with the 1996 Camaro instead of the 1997!
  14. It does appear so to me as well, after a quick search it appears the diecast is a “reissue” as well.
  15. Based on the box, it looks like they plan to have more duo packs in the future. Even with the extra diecast, I agree that the price is way too high, especially not being the 3n1 version.
  16. Especially if they also make a Cherokee/Wagoneer conversion (you would just need to shorten the chassis a little bit!)
  17. I thought those were nubs to mount the mirrors until I noticed there were none on the sprues! 😆
  18. I am guessing they have not fixed the undersized wheels however, that is the one part of this kit that is disappointing since they are such a large part of the look!
  19. I can verify that the Fujimi Land Cruiser 80 is an awful kit that has a shallow interior and is definitely closer to 1/22 scale. The E30 BMW kits are also pretty poor.
  20. See images I just snapped of ads splitting topic headers. Is this able to be fixed?
  21. Honestly that plastic was brittle, I had one that I sold (and the Corvette) that also had fractured pieces and some cracks in the body (Corvette was worse).
  22. Pic of the box art found on Facebook
  23. What would be the issue with saying what current, not “new”, tooling they have?
  24. Just give me more AMT/Ertl-era kits, they are some of the best domestic kits in terms of detail and fitment.
