  1. That body is gorgeous .Those decals look fantastic
  2. Very nice. That plumbing must have been a real challenge. Go Lotus !
  3. 2 amps isn't to bad I would wire the project with some good 12 gauge wire like this http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXKX17&P=ML so volts should not be an issue. Go with a 3 amp 12 volt switch or larger that would cover the bases on for everything. Try to keep the connections to as few as possible http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXKX39&P=ML these here are a zero loss connector. If you are running an electric motor of any kind amp draw would be a larger concern.
  4. A lot of rechargeable Ni-cad batteries run about 1.2 volts depending what you need a battery for you can make a pack with some battery bars and a soldering iron. You can get higher voltages with a different battery chemistry. It really depnds on what you are doing. Nickle metal and Lipo and LiFe batteries have other advantages if weight, space and run time are a concern. But they add cost you need a special charger for them and Lipo's can be dangerous if you don't have the proper equipment and know how. You can make the pack to tailor your needs. A parallel wired pack will give you a low voltage and a longer amount of time before a recharge . Wired in series will up the voltage but you may need higher capacity cells to get the same amount of time before a recharge. Knowing what your project draws in amps or Milli-amps would help. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LX2429&P=7 battery bars http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXFD66&P=7 1.2 volt rechargeable AAA

  6. Will do Chuck I have another 32 I did a few years ago I plan on doing a before the forum and what I have learned after the forum. Hopefully I can translate all of the cool stuff on here to real world application.
  7. ^^^^^Thanks Chuck, Thanks Sully, that really helps. This is one of the many reasons this is the best model forum on the web. :o I think I could scratch a clutch pedal and shifter with out too much trouble. I may have to lengthen the drive shaft. If I go that route I'm going to have to get a set of brake drums for the front and back to go with that vintage look. Flat paint and some white walls, To many idea's ..... aaaAARG! pleases make it stop This is why this is one of the worst sites on the web :D All kidding aside this really helps Thanks
  8. The big block? It looks like a Hemi not sure if it's 427 it comes with 2 engines
  9. I am starting this kit and I am curious. What size engines come with the kit It's the two- n -one model. I think one is a 5 liter Mustang engine the other I'm not sure. I'm not a Ford guy I really would like to drop a flat head in this.I have a Revell 48 Ford convertible but the transmission is a bit smaller. Any sugestions for a flat head or 302 type engine would be helpful Thanks. http://www3.towerhob...p?&I=LXWEA1&P=W The car I have http://www3.towerhob...p?&I=LXWEA1&P=W Possible flat head engine from this kit.

  21. This has been a year for me I wish I had a camera of the cool cars I seen this year but the D.O.T. might frown if they saw a tanker truck taking pictures while going down the road So for this year I have seen. Two Lotus Elise,Two Bentley Continental GT, 2 Rolls Royce, A 30's Cord. And today a Ford GT 40 . Its getting late in the season up my way I haven't seen a Ferrari or A Lamborghini yet I see a few every year.
