  1. WOW! These are spectacular and sure bring back memories of drag racing in it's prime! Thanks for the link.
  2. Who says hatchbacks are out! That's a very unique look.. well done on the paint!
  3. I really like the proportions on it .. nice job.
  4. That's some spectacular weathering ..extremely realistic as I look out the window at the plow cruising by.
  5. Great job on that front VW emblem. That has caused headaches for me, though painted, not chromed.
  6. That would be a great project .. those early Harley earl concepts are beautiful. I don't see how you CAN'T use an early 'Vette as the donor. The Wildcat debuted the same year as the Corvette concepts.
  7. This thread is happening all over again, so here's my daily driver just for the record ..and so I remember what it looks like pre-New England salt
  8. Nice, subtle weathering job on the body.
  9. Cool ..always wanted to see that bus version.
  10. I'm sure I have this wide screen monitor to see it all! It keeps getting better and better ... can't wait to see the candy apple!

Nice save... came out looking real good. That's one interesting roof and I like the partial aluminum on the firewall.
  12. Sure brings back memories looking at those trees. I cut those down during the first issue when I was a cute little "almost a teenager". Thanks for the pics.
  13. I don't think that's any problem. It's a good way to find old links sometimes!
  14. There was a good discussion about this kit here when it first came out. Also that link had photos of all the parts and it does have both style bumpers. Everyone's input got me to grab the kit just for the detail parts to finish off my Hasegawa kit. It's worth a look if you're starting or considering this kit. It DOES have great detail. And to maybe get me off my butt and FINISH my bus, here's a link to the WIP.
  15. Made some advancement with the wood trim. I found a scrap piece of furniture, maybe mahogany, and ripped a 3/16" thick piece with the old table saw. Traced the shape and ground it out with the Dremel. This piece was practice to see how this method would work and seems to be very doable and easy with a more careful test and fit. I like the look and will help the "look" with a surfboard sticking out the window. .. making the surfboard in next I think.
  16. Your rigs look more realistic .. fantastic builds AND photography!
  17. haha..great one! ..and realistic (!) to boot! That tarp looks just like the one in my garage.
  18. Happy big one Curt! The best part about it is you're close to retirement and 24/7 modeling!!
  19. I wish they would have shown it's tail.
  20. Those Packard lights look good and looks like some nice bodywork molding then in! For George, they are mirror images of Replicas & Miniatures tail lights.. I'd bet a 1:1 Packard on it!
  21. This is defiantly a learning experience for me. I've always heard of the difficulty putting a Pocher together, but never realized it was due to bad quality control. That is totally unforgivable for a kit of this level!
  22. ..with Gregg's great job of converting the old forum and keeping everything intact!
  23. That's my excuse and I'm sticking with it! Loving watching your scratch building solutions here. The truck cab is perfect for that engine.
  24. A real looker there!
