  1. This one is a piece of art. The mechanical detailing is so realistic! .. as is everything else about it ... paint, textures ... WoW on this !

    Going Potty

This looks awesome from every angle! Color and stance are just spectacular!
  3. The mono color looks fantastic on that!
  4. Came out great looking, especially considering where it came from.
  5. Welcome Chris and will be looking forward to seeing your Vette.
  6. Looks like quite a nice project. Good to see you're building after the quake.
  7. Wow..that is looking awesome. The engine has such great detail and texture! Those front air brakes really add to it. Some great angles in last photos! This is giving me inspiration for a Peterbilt 359 rat rod I just started playing with. It's still evolving, but has sleeper removed and I'm in the process of Z'ing the frame front and rear to drop the cab a foot while the cab was also channeled 12". The cab was also set back 2 feet to allow an Allison engine to fit. I've never built a truck (was a 50% off fling) OR a rat rod, so this is fun. Much of the detail I see on yours help me think through what I need on this.

    Wild Bee...

That's a great carry-thru on the theme.. and SO well executed!
  9. That rust is so convincing that I'm convinced this is a steel model.
  10. I have to second everything said. This really came out grand. What makes it work so well, besides you're superb craftsmanship, is your great design sense!
  11. That's what I want to know.. and is it possible to round ANY corner above 20 mph? I learned to drive in a Kombi and corners ware not what they are made for.
  12. I find the watch parts and interior decor most interesting. The paint should be in a museum.
  13. The planet system this was photographed in has two suns
  14. I made a pvc tube frame and just use a white sheet over it to diffuse the light. The sheet lets more light through than a piece of foam board and it can be doubled to diffuse the light more. Made a little vertical wood stand for the back that I can drape various color poster board sheets for seamless backgrounds. I use some 25 watt curly florescent lights. Never saw that particular light tent, Cranky. Some interesting options there. And give us cheapo's another chance to show just how cheap we are in making our own!
  15. Good looking bus! I really like the slight rake.
  16. Very interesting ...I'm anxious to see how this comes out from your description.!
  17. Defiantly art, Art! That is one simple frame and suspension ... but derived from a stagecoach or something I'd expect back then.
  18. Nice to see a plain Jane ..but built SO clean it just pops!
  19. Looking good! (the cars, that is) Was great they showed the kids building. So, when do we see some photos?

  22. That looks fantastic! I love the water bead effect.
  23. They defiantly are in the regular Taurus kit. I needed a set for the 92 Crown Vic my Dad had and that's where I found them. Here's a link to my wip on it..look at the end of this page for what the Taurus rims look like
  24. The roof line with that chop came out really well!
