ok, I just can't resist ... forgive me Ross and Plymouths everywhere ............. There's a party in my paint ... you're invited!
  2. They're all good looking builds, but I want to know what the tire in the background off of .. I'm betting it's NOT a Chevy.

yeah, that paint really likes it out there in the sun! ... and it's NOT just George's eyes!! looks cool!
  4. Thanks for all the input Bob. That windshield is pretty weird ... those A pillars would be major blind spots! Odds are I'll still get a kit when I see one and probably weld the doors shut too I'm expecting ... maybe the hood too and use the engine in a rat rod!! ehhe
  5. Looks great.. still loving those BMF "decals"!!!
  6. I think it looks fantastic! I love the way the separation line swoops up from each end and meets at the split!
  7. You're making me druel now! and it's the roof that I like so much about it. May have to stash one in the pile for sometime later if it's getting reissued. Are the wheels similar to the ones in the group 44 photos and just bad looking?
  8. is the kit the fastback? I always loved that body, but I'm partial due to the TR4A I had. The Group 44 sounds interesting Bob.. will sure be watching for that one I expect this is a curbside thou ... 6 cylinder Triumph engines are probably in the same category as a Volvo 240 kit!

Loving that sedan rod ... and that shot thru the windshield.. AWESOME!
  10. I just don't have the room for a 1/12 but I love the detail I'm seeing here. Being able to use real bolts to fasten things is my 1/25th dream ... it just adds SO much and I'm sure adds some good rigidity to the model. The exhaust is looking really good!
  11. I was had last week, but this one just has too many clues ... I got 2 big ones and some smaller... betting I got Bill's "glaring" obvious one to make it real. (borrows Mr Obsessive's tape to mask mouth)
  12. 1967 -1969 ... SALUTE!
  13. ah yes ... '67-'68 ... Neckarsulm near the NSU, future 944 factory. Not too far from Hockenheimring .. those were the days! Must have been great day for your son and daughter .. one of them currently stationed there?
  14. bah .. a water pump! but, that's racing.
  15. That candy red defiantly looks great on it!! Nice job with the decals
  16. That's looking good!. Glad to see a van coming together as I keep getting this uncontrollable itch to do a detailed.. in and out .. van and I have WAY too much going here to even think about it, never mind scratch. If you keep this going so I can watch maybe my itch will get some suppression.
  17. I'm still waiting, but then, it's only 11 days late.
  18. Nice to see some rats finding a home .. The SPCA will be proud of ya. Those are quite the exotic headliner jobs!
  19. The first two especially are great angles on that long puppy! The compression on the 2nd I love..
  20. Ala Cart and a Parnelli Jones racer.... oh my. You get a Stock Outta Box Pass on the Caddy decals, but we'll see. A sneaky row you added in the last pic. I'll be saving my finishes right along with ya so don't hurry.
  21. Things haven't been completely stagnant. Started some base paint and still planning to rust it out in the end. The 6 plug distributor decided to re-distribute itself and waiting for it to reappear. Had to just stick things in their holes for a few shots .....
  22. In 1/25th the 1/16 wire (.0625") would be a hair over 1.5 inches. Not sure what the 15 means.. maybe was the length? In any case, just multiply the actual size by 25 to obtain the scale dimension (for 1/25 scale).
  23. No one can deny that's a chopped top! Some great work there on a cool looking vehicle.
  24. hehe.. you got me! That episode was on just as I was reading Jody's post. Here's a couple links: This is a link to the online My Classic Car episode. Here is the Lane Motor Museum where it resides.
  25. PLEASE be gentle with that cylinder head, Ed !! and I'/m with Ed also on this .. I liked the hot rod truck.
