  1. Everything I build has to have some kind of Vee-Dub part on it, just to mess with people! Usually it's a bit more subtle than in this particular case, though.
  2. Skip- here in Central Michigan, Falcons are ADORED! They're about equal to Novas and Chevy IIs in terms of popularity. Maybe it's a reigonal thing?
  3. -rimshot...-
  4. Wow! It's amazing you got this kit to actually fit together properly, much less come up with an end result this cool! If H.R. Giger and David Aronson built models, I'd bet they'd resemble this one.
  5. Wouldn't you know it... 98% done, and the brick wall does appear...
  6. Touché...
  7. A shame this one's no longer in production, but I still love it! The legendary '61 Plymouth... the only car designed to look like it dead-centered a pole on its way off the assemlby line! Casting quality is fantastic, chrome is nice, and there's way less flash and than the Jo-Han kit upon which its based, and no mold separation lines!
  8. Holy WHOA!!!! Hey Mark... want one NOW????
  9. Wonder how well a Terminator Mod motor would fit...?
  10. What he said.
  11. Death is STILL the only one I have ANY ideas for...
  12. Did you see the Gremlin thread? Sheesh, I really don't see how an early '70's compact car model kit being reissued could stir up so much hate...
  13. Weren't the current Lindberg 1:20 Vega and Gremlin kits Palmers, too? I want to get the Vega to build one for my mom (her first car was a Vega... and she kept buying GM vehicles for nearly 30 years after that regardless... ), but just a quick glance at the box art cover girl sends me reeling. The Challenger wasn't too bad. (Note that I said 'wasn't too bad' not 'pretty great' )I sometimes have a hard time with the fact it was a Palmer kit at one point. The Palmer 'Big Drag' Challenger, on the other hand...
  14. Love the 'stock' era stock cars! I'd love to see that Matador back in the lineup.
  15. Yeah- kind of what I'm thinking just by 'eyeballing' it. Looks like the old MPC Goodyear Blue Streaks would tuck in there, too.
  16. Check out Dupli-Color Bahama Blue or Testors Colors by Boyd Pacific Blue- they're both a pretty close match, even though their 'blueness' is highly debatable! (They're more a turquoise than a blue.)
  17. Cannot WAIT to get my grubby little mits on this one!
  18. If I may interrupt the tomfoolery just a tad- how wide are those rear wheel tubs? I've got a bunch of Revell Pro Street rear tires that could use a new home.
  19. If you start to have strange thoughts or hallucinations due to the meds... REPORT TO THE WORKBENCH IMMEDIATELY!!!!
  20. Yummy!!!!
  21. Mark- I was HOPING you'd post those, because I get some perverse enjoyment out of seeing them. Especially that Chevette(?). Uh, Pinto... uh... whateveritis...
  22. Whoa, Gregg! Killer stance- looks like I won't be the first guy to build one of these as a pro tourer! And yeah, the grille does look way better from that angle.
  23. LOVE that Pontiac, I had to resist the urge to slap a '55 Chevy stepside bed on this one. Maybe next time!
