I kind of like Dave's idea of running black headers and exhaust. To expand on something he mentioned earlier- the red shocks MIGHT fit the 'John Deere' theme, if you just say it's a Waterloo Boy! That was the first use of the green body/yellow wheels, but the engine was painted bright red.

THAT'S certainly not going to cause any confusion. Be that as it may, I'll be keeping a lookout for these. Maybe they'll come up with a less well-traveled name than IMC by the time production actually begins.

Cliché Alert!!!! Cliché Alert!!!! Old kits are worth whatever amount they sell for. As has been said, value guides are pretty much worthless. E Model Cars and E-Bay prices can serve as a kind of barometer, but there really aren't any hard and fast guidelines as far as prices. For instance, I've seen the old MPC '32 Chevy Panel in unbuilt condition going for anywhere from $60 to $160- it all depends on who's selling it and who wants it badly enough. (And all this is NOT considering condition of the parts, box, etc. That's a whole other ballgame I have no desire thinking about right now! )

So, you need an enclosed utility trailer, but all you have is a non-operable old Dodge van? Why not do what a guy in Ithaca did (except the 1:1 was a fullsize GM van)? That's right- cut away the front 1/3 or so, wall off the front portion, and add a tounge! I built this a couple of years ago, using the rear part of the body and interior tub from an MPC 1980 'Wanted Van' annual kit, the springs and tounge from a Model King Camper, and some spares box wheels and tires.

That's a shame, too- Chrysler had some very cool concepts! Guess I'll never see that Power Wagon Concept kit I'd love to have so much, much LESS a 1:25 WWII style Power Wagon.

Sheesh- I used one of these chassis under a '62 Bel Air bubbletop AND in a '66 Fairlane (after I grafted on the Fairlane's front subframe). It's a very versatile chassis, maybe second to the AMT '66 Nova Pro Street Chassis.

I knew it would be gorgeous just from the name ( ), but its exceeding all my expectations!

Forgot this one- another Dodge Ad, starring 'Meatwad' from Aqua Teen Hunger Force. They played the ad quite a bit during the show, now that I remember.

That Chassis fits under the Bee, GTX, AND the '68 Roadrunner with very little effort, and if I recall, doesn't need too much fitting to work under a '74 GTX or '71 Charger, either.

Amen to that!
