The original Jeepster wasn't much of a Jeep, was it? You wouldn't have seen Patton tooling around town in a bright red, wide-whitewalled Jeepster! Mabye a Patriot isn't a 'real' Jeep in some people's minds, but hey, it's pretty good for what it is, and manages to look pretty cool at the same time! Since practically nobody wants a 'Trail Rated' 4x4, I kind of think Jeep had to branch out a bit to keep its head above water. Now, about the Liberty... I really have to wonder how well separating the Dodge/Ram lines will work- didn't they try that with the Imperial? For a few years, Imperials weren't Chryslers, they were their own line above Chrysler, but everybody kept calling them ChryslerImperials, and the muddy 'brand identity' is what ended up killing it as its own division. Assuming the average consumer hasn't gotten any 'sharper' since then, I don't see the launch of Ram as its own separate brand being very successful.

	Revell 1968 Firebird Build Sequence QuestionChuck Most replied to Chillyb1's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers SOMETIMES it can be an issue, but on this particular kit, it isn't. In fact, adding a front or rear panel rarely prevents chassis installation, though as always, test first, as there's an exception to every such rule!

	Ford H-SeriesChuck Most replied to Chuck Most's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment Oddly, there's plenty of room for me to sleep behind the seat on a C-cab (or H-series, by proxy). Even with two passengers, one guy could theoretically sleep on the seat, and one on the shelf behind the seat.

	Which Plymouth Prowler?Chuck Most replied to seanyb505's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers Thanks Mark! It was AMT which did the Snap Kit, not Revell- the Revell Prowlers were glue-only. (That might be why you don't remember the Revell Snap Prowler. )

	Just wondering if anybody's ever built an H-Series model. Dean Milano did one years ago in SAE, but I've never seen another one. Please tell me he and I aren't the only guys who love those ungainly things!

	Which Plymouth Prowler?Chuck Most replied to seanyb505's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers Revell did two kits- a snap and full detail glue. In my opinion, the AMT kit is better than the Revell glue kit as far as detail, but the Revell seemed to build easier. If I were to build another one, I'd probably go for the Revell kit, and look for one that's not molded in color.

	Man, you should have seen the floor! Well, I didn't actually see it, but I was poking my finger in the carpet and feeling it break through the floor boards, and could hear chunks of metal and crust falling. Not to mention my finger is still itching from whatever nasty stuff was soaked into that damp rug...

	"Seinfeld"= good. "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"= way, way better.

	Yeah, not sure if I'm bummed or elated about the Chevelle! The Mustang is pretty rough- not only did the interior look like it had set outside with the windows open for several years, the turbo, plumbing, and most of the engine-driven accessories were gone off the engine. Most of the Pace-Car specific parts are still there, but the car's beyond saving.

	My guess is it's designed to save the time and effort you'd normally use priming- this line is intended more for the lazy or inexperienced homeowner who's just freshening up some plastic items than pros or hobbyists. For somebody not as well versed in painting as we are, it's a pretty good selling point.

	I'd Loooooooooooove to see one of these in full-detail kit form!

	Just wondering, anybody know what these two cats are up to these days? Both used to write for SAE- Dean did 'Replica Stock' and Tim did 'Scale Firehouse', but I haven't seen much from them since.
