Tyrone!! That trim looks awesome man! Nice crisp lines. It's amazing how a little trim and a few decals really can transform a model. I'm loving it!!!

Spent about 6 hours on this yesterday. Finished plumbing the engine and wired the interior. Tedious work but I am happy with how it came out. On to the pics! Thanks for looking!!!!

Just came back to this thread........amazing work!!! I totally understand about the aftermarket stuff. When I built my '58 most of the aftermarket stuff I had been accumulating for years.....it adds up fast!

These are very cool!! One of my favorite things to do is build models of my cars and my friends cars. Keep with the updates!!! I'm enjoying this project!!!

I promised you folks an update this weekend. I have been working on this all week. I am ALMOST ready for paint. Just need to decide if I want to put side windows in it.. Here's the chassis up on it's wheels Engine well under way.....still a lot to do...... And here she is mocked up. Still a long way to go but man am I having fun!!!

The work you are doing on this is phenomenal. I love the headers!!! Wish I could figure out how to bend up a set that nice!!

After going back and forth between maroon, black and yellow, I have decided on the color. It will be black, I will add aluminum BMF to the front of the roof. All the chrome trim will be foiled. I think I'll do black wheels from the "Carpenter '55". White letter tires. Not sure if I'm going to have the body lift off or not. The cutout in the hood is going to be huge. Even the distributors are gonna poke out of the hood. Got a little more done today but not much to show for it. Bodywork is all done. Distributors are made. bug catcher is painted, pedals and shifters are painted, I've started on the fire bottles and batteries. I need to pick up some detail parts so I can start wiring this thing. Should have an update by the weekend.
