  1. Okay, okay! Who's next on Death's Hit-List? Well, at least Keanu Reeves beat him on his "Bogus Journey"! You know why all these celebrities are dying? God want's to keep theme for him self!
  2. When you have Egg's Benedict, it's either called ham, or canadian bacon. Same thing really. It's all meat to me! I liked it when Tommy Chung repeats the officer's questions. "What are YOU doing in Canada?" And dont' forget FEZ's rambling. "Bibibdiboo?" Or whatever it was, alien talk! LOL!
  3. There's a program on CMC channel called Trick My Truck and it would be awesome to see theme do an Optimus Prime replica. Those guys are awesome! I don't care for trucks as I'm not a redneck or anything like that, but I do enjoy the show. I do enjoy watching people take a piece of trash and making something cool out of it.
  4. Not much of a holiday when it land's on a Saturday. Still, happy whatever! LOL! Hey, he's my UNCLE TOO!
  5. Hmmmm........................................................ I hear crickets .................................... tough sub.
  6. Does anybody else here race Mini-Z's or am I talking to my self here? Hmmmmmm
  7. The construction of this Testarossa is very similar to the Fujimi's Koenig version! Except the Koenig did not have any "springs" in the suspension system. It look's like a very complex model to build and I'd be nervous of doing one of these kits! I've always loved the white Testarossa as seen in the show, and that is how I'd build mine. Look's awesome so far!
  8. Noted.........................
  9. Beautiful, well done! Love the red in there!
  10. Gosh darn dange it fatoooy! I was wrong............... Next Romday!
  11. Nice gray Testarossa, I would've commented if I've seen it.
  12. You know, if you ever get into 1/28 scale Mini-Z racing, Kyosho does make that body for their Mini-Z chassis, and it is beautifully detailed. We guy's still like to collect the bodies even if we don't race'em. The bodies alone are beautiful to have and display. Check out Hobby Japan on ebay as they should still have this model in stock. There are two versions, the one you pictured here, and I think an older year that had gold BBS rims. Kyosho does a gorgeous job with their AutoScale bodies. Super detail, light-weight, and lot's of fun on the track! Just a little FYI!
  13. I loved "That 70's Show" episode where the kids make a run to Canada to bring back some beer. Kelso makes fun of the Canadian's. "Do you sometimes get an American quarter in change from the machines?" "If you call ham Canadian bacon, what do you call bacon?" Something along those lines. Funny episode!
  14. I really enjoy watching Walker, Texas Ranger TV show. Live on Chucky, live on! He may be one tough guy, but his time will come just like all the rest of us. At least he keeps him self healthy and fit!
  15. I've also been told dental floss is great for cutting the doors if you want to make theme open. But I don't know if this thread is for creating just the lines, or opening the doors. Sounds more like just creating lines. I've asked this once before when working with putty that tends to cover up some original body lines that you wanted to keep.
  16. See, don't I know my shtuff or what? And I've never even seen this kit opened before!
  17. Why 3 mirrors? Very simple and I'll tell you why, and I hope before you start glueing theme on. The Testarossa used in the TV show Miami Vice, as that kit is built for, had only one mirror that was mounted up higher on the A-pilar than the normal pair of mirrors. The pair of mirrors should be identical to each other and they fit at the corner of the window frame where most mirror's are located. If you look really carefully, particularly the instructions should provide this info, one mirror will look odd. If so, that odd mirror will be the single mirror that is placed mid-way up the A-pilar as it did in the TV show. I must admit, I've never seen this kit before and never worked on one so I can't honestly be sure if all three mirrors are identical or if there is one odd one. Just my assumption. Just take a hard look at all three mirrors to be sure.
  18. Reminds me of the lyrcis found in Oingo Boingo's song Dead Man's Party. Anybody remember that group and that song? Oingo Boingo did the theme song for the movie Wired Science titled as such, Wired Sceince? I found the lyrcis to Dead Mans' Party, but it won't let me copy the text for some reason.
  19. Let's not forget Mike Meyers written, directed, and played more than one character in the Austin Powers trilogy! Okay, back to Cannonball Run!
  20. Good ones guy's! LOL!
  21. I've purchased flocking material but never used it. It's all in a powder form and I tend to think it be too messy to work with. It would be nice if somebody like BMF or SMS could create a sheet of very fine leather/carpet material to scale. Something with a sticky backing that we can cut to shape and stick where desired. I've tried SMS's spray-on flocking but it turned out lousy.
  22. Two comments. The brushed on black on something classic like this, can give a nice weathered, or scratched look. Spray painting it for a nice silky smooth look will make it look brand new. So, it depends on the end result that you want. Um, why is there red paint on your fingernail? I hope that's not nail-polish! LOL! Nice work on that truck by the way!
  23. Really? That was the director of the movie? Never would've figured................ Um, maybe not? Jack Elam ... Doctor Nikolas Van Helsing That was the character I was refering too.
  24. Gotta love my new computer with Wikipedia. Just did a search for Cannonball Run and came up with this. Great information here and includes posted race-times of the actual events. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cannonball_Ba...ial_Trophy_Dash I did not realize that Jamie Farr, "The Sheik" was in fact Klinger from M.A.S.H.! Wow, I would've never noticed without reading Wikipedia, but sure enough!
  25. Frank Welker ... Special Vocal Effects (voice) Now where have I heard that name before? Hmmmmmmm RoboCop car, yep I do know my movies! Thank you for that big list of character's and actors! It's funny how they give first names to some characters when the names aren't even mentioned in the movies. I never heard Fenderbaum, refered to as Morris before. I only heard the last name in both movies. Wait a minute, I just noticed something. The Dr. wasn't mentioned in any of those lists! You know, that big scary looking Dr.? He was the Dr. in J.J's ambulance in the first movie, and then he was the Dr. for the Shiek in the second movie.
