  1. Yes, thank you! Now I just have to find that song on CD or Itunes so I can play it! What do you say when you write with no words? (feeling) Feel a song that's never been heard? (sing it) How do know if you did it all? (answer) What do you do when you've done it all? (ball) [bridge]Cannonball (cannonball) Cannonball (cannonball) Cannonball [Chorus]It's not what you do It's how you do it. Be anything you want to be It's not what you got It's how you use it You be you And I'll be me It's just a matter of style You can fake it Mile after mile Feeling free If you got the soul you can make it Move-em out (move 'em out) Let 'em roll (let 'em roll) From sea to shining sea Ball (ball) Cannonball (cannonball) What do you do if a mountain is there? (move it) How do you answer to a challenge in today? (take it) When your back's against the wall? (fake it) What do you do when you've done it all? (ball) [bridge] [Chorus] Cannonball! (cannonball-cannonball) Don't ask me why this song is so important to me. I just enjoy hearing it every time I watch the movie and sometimes I enjoy the movie just to listen to the song. It's a great tune, not really for dancing, but it's a feel good song! Know what I mean?
  2. I don't know why but that joke reminds me of one of Jerry Seinfield's last episodes. Where the four of theme are watching a fat guy being car-jacked or robbed or something and they all stand there watching this happen and make jokes about it. I think one of theme said. "You know, good thing about robbing a fat guy is he's too slow to chase you." Or something like that, sorry can't remember exact words even as funny as it was. Still, that was a good one harry! Have you heard this one? Never argue with an idiot. Nobody will notice the difference.
  3. Wasn't such a big fan of Ghostbusters. Liked the first one better than the second one. Not familiar with Bukaroo Bonzai.
  4. It's either number 1, or number 11 as both have Cannonball in it. But the song I'm looking for is the one that they play at the very start of the movie when the police are chasing the black Lamborghini Countach. I think it's also in the second movie as well when the police are chasing the white Lamborghini which becomes red after they hose-down the water-based paint. One of those songs I believe is the one they play while the racers are gathering at the hotel at night starting the race. The one I'm looking for has these lyrics in it. "It's not what you do it's how you do it. You'll be you and I"ll be me. It's just the matter of style, you can face it....Let'em roll, from sea to shinning sea, sea to shinning sea, ball. Cannonball." Sorry, that's the best I can do from memory. LOL!
  5. What movies do you like and why? Favorite sci-fi's, favorite comedy, favorite car movies? Here's my list. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE XMEN 2 2001 A SPACE ODYSSEY STAR TREK I THE MOTION PICTURE I, ROBOT SHORT CIRCUIT SHORT CIRCUIT 2, "All though not as good as first one." THE CANNONBALL RUN, and THE CANNONBALL RUN II NO MAN'S LAND TERMINATOR TRILOGY, "Soon will have the fourth one when available." WEIRD SCIENCE FAST AND FURIOUS series DIE HARD Series RUSH HOUR TRILOGY MATRIX TRILOGY BEAN BRUCE ALMIGHTY JOHNNY ENGLISH HAPPY GILMORE BIG DADDY BILLY MADISON, "Sort of" THE WEDDING SINGER There are many more on my wish list of movies such as............... BILL AND TED'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE BILL AND TED'S BOGUS ADVENTURE, "Not that I liked it that much but it completes the series." BEVERLY HILL'S COP I, II, and III The rest of the STAR TREK movies THE entire CHILDS PLAY series Naturally, the entire 007 James Bond series. I'm sure there are many more to list, but can't think of all of theme. Some several classic sci-fi's as well. One such example, if I have the name right, Collossal. It's about a super computer that takes control of humans and threatens man kind with nuclear war. Very old black/white movie. You could say begining's of Skynet? So that's my current list, and my wish list of movies. The top list is all on my computer, and Ipod.
  6. Anybody know where I can find the theme song to the movie The Cannonball Run? You know, in the opening title where they do the Lamborghini Countach/police car chase scene through the dessert highway? The only song I can find that is called the Cannonball Run theme song is NOT the one I'm looking for. What they call the theme song is the song they played when the racers were gathering at the hotel and started their actual race. I have found the cool Cannonball song as heard in the second movie. "Like a Cannonball". That song is played during the ending of the movie as they start leaving the Pinto Ranch after saving the Sheik and his money, they all get back in their cars and race to the finish line. A pretty cool song and I will purchase it as soon as I have the fund's. But meanwhile, I'm looking for the opening title song Cannonball Run. Strange request I know, but I've always loved that song, that and the theme song to the movie Condorman. Anybody know that one? I have tried Itune's search for all songs, but only ones that come up with is Like a Cannonball, and that other one I mentioned.
  7. I'm not sure I do, I'm not sure I don't. Hmmmmmm.
  8. hmmmmmm, we seem to have a dead audiance here. Any jokes to lighten up the atmosphere?! Helllllloooooooo? Human's must've had bad engineers. I mean, who would put a recreational facility right next to a waste disposal unit? Thank you Robin Williams on Bicentennial Man!
  9. I like that red one too, and your wheels will match! The Fujimi kit is the same as ALL of their FC3S kit's no matter how Fujimi packs it. Maybe only difference being types of wheels. If you have the Initial D kit, it has those same aerodynamic mirrors. I think that is another difference in kit's. The Initial D models have different mirrors and bumpers. So you might want to hunt down an I.D. Fujimi kit for parts. I wonder if Fujimi's LH dashboard will work with other kits of the same car?
  10. One of the coolest BMW's ever made, street version is awesome looking! No shadows? I see a shadow underneath the car! Been tricked before, want to say real, but I'm going with model on this one. Even though I won't be here Friday to know if I was right or not.
  11. It depends on what your looking for. JR is only good for RC airplane stuff. My favorite hobby shop visiting Florida is the Hobby Town in Melbourne Florida. Although I can't recall exactly which street it's on, but it's a very nice big Hobby Town. It's the only one I know of that has a killer selection of RC stuff including my beloved Kyosho Mini-Z stuff. I wish I could recall exact address for you, sorry. But it's a great one if you find it! I think California is better for hobby stuff though.
  12. If that was a street car version, I'd have a perfect licensee plate for yea, CATNIP! LOL! Get it? I wonder if I can build a KS Jaguar out of those! At least I think that's the same model Koenig did. I'll have to see if I can find a photo of one and post it. Anyway, nice detailing, especially the wheels, look's very realistic! Wiring on the engine is awesome too!
  13. Fujimi makes the 180SX. I've built one of those in black a while ago. No longer have it. I'm afraid I havent' even really started my Smonda for this drift car build-off. Well, except for the primer and paint of main body. Still need to get the proper carbon-fiber decals for it. Dad and I are heading to California this week driving two cars each with a trailer behind it, and will probably be gone for about 10 day's or so. I still have not yet finished my KS 911 and probably wont' be able to till Dad heads back to Florida. Hopefully he'll take his puppy with him this time so me and the cat will have some peace! LOL! Will report on progress of coarse! So far I like the green and chrome machine! Really nice work with the BMF, if this was a contest, I'd say he's already won!
  14. Wow, that is something I would've never picked up on. I do see curvatures in a lot of model car roofs, but as I'm not familiar with this particular classic, I couldn't say one way or another. But everything else about it said real to me. I didn't vote, but at least I guessed it right! Next Romday! Oh wait, I won't be home at all next week, heading out to California with Dad, two cars, two trailers. Convoy! Maybe the following week.
  15. I wish I could find one of those hobby/job's. For you RC car guy's, you need to look into Kyosho's amazing 1/43 scale Dnano cars. Expensive, but very much worth it. Their plastic bodies have as much detail as die-cast cars, and the chassis is very raceable and very high tech. I've mentioned this in other threads, but you RC folks really need to check'em out. They have some pretty sweet bodies out available for theme.
  16. I just through in the 8 track for the fun of it. I could've gone older and say, what's on your vinyl? Or something silly like that. Country, can't stand it. I heard Jerry Springer used to be a country-singer, a mayor as well? Sorry, but I love that guy! His show is lame and retarded I know, but I like his personality and the comments he makes him selfe. He's great! I titled the thread Itunes and 8 track as that can be everything in between, vinyls as well. I love playing my Itunes on my new computer cause sometimes I just enjoy watching the way cool visualizer that Itunes has and on my old PC it was slow, choppy, and would glitch. It's silky smooth glitch free and I love it! No offense to those that love it, but country is one of those I can't stand to listen too.
  17. I've had similar questions. I wonder how to make same scale models fit other's of different types of mounting systems. AND! How to correct the offset. Would somebody please post a how-to with photos? There are times a Fujimi wheel will look better on a Revell and vise-versa. There are lot's more times where the offset is wrong, example if you remember my first model the gray RX7 FC3S with the front wheels being too far in?
  18. Nice collection of helicopters there! I'm also into RC electric helicopters, but I'm more into scale-flying. I'm a big fan of Airwolf and I have a few small Airwolf toy's and one Align Trex 450 XL with an Airwolf fuselage on it. I think I posted it elsewhere in this forum.
  19. Rubic's cube on crack, that's a good one! Are you talking about the original ones? Cause the newer Binaltech series are supposedly even more complex. I used to be into Kyosho's 1/28 scale RC cars' known as Mini-Z's but some what lost interest in theme when their prices went up and quality went down a little bit. They used to clear-coat their finely detailed bodies with what we think is Future, but now they use a hand-polishing method and some say it has an orange-peal look to it. I've never seen the new bodies in hand so I really couldn't tell. But Kyosho now has an amazing little high-performance high-tech RC car in 1/43 scale called the Dnano and I'm interested in those. Right now my current hobby is my new Imac computer. I also have a small collection of re-issued G1 Transformers including a very rare Transformer from the Kronoform series which were a small collection of watches that turned into different things. The one I have is a fully-functioning calculator robot watch they named Kaltor and he turns into a little robot. I had one when I was a young teenage and it was fun to play with. I found one mint condition in sealed box in sealed display box on ebay for 200 dollars and had to have it as it was childhood memory. Still have it today proudly displayed with my other TF's and the watch still works great! It's alarm wakes me up every morning. Pretty cool that something like that still works 20 years later! I'd like to start collecting the more advanced die-cast metal Binaltech Transformers and some of the Masterpeice series, but their expensive! The one I really want to get is the white Mazda RX8 "Jazz".
  20. Cool, great to see that car in there. It would be ironic if the black Countach was in the same REAL race! LOL! I think it's MPC model's that has that van available as a kit, if you can find one.
  21. Wow, that is quite a write-up on the movies. The Cannonball Run has always been a favorite since a child. I've seen it so many darn times I've practically got the entire script locked in my head! LOL!
  22. Thank you for that link Mike. I have visited that site before. I love that picture of the black Countach speeding on the highway and am now useing it as my desk top! I just loooooove how it look's with that front wing! It'll certainly be a fun project to build some time!
  23. I was about to put the door handles on and clear coat her, when I realized I almost forgot to touch up the bottom from where she was sitting on the cardboard! So, I painted the bottom and now that's going to have to wait and dry before any more work can be done. DOH! I dont' think this will be finished till I get back from California!
  24. When you sell on ebay, don't forget to pay for your ebay fee's. I forgot about mine from something I sold back in January and for a while I was suspended from ebay and couldn't even ask a seller a question. Fortunetly, I sold an item yesterday and was able to pay those darn fee's and now my account is good again. What kind of model kit's do you have? Have you got any classic Fujimi models? I'm hunting for an 89 Honda CRX Mugen Pro.2 model.
  25. Just did some decal work and painted in the tail lights. Not sure when I'll be able to do the rest of it.
