Hey Mr. Mike, nice green on that probe! Is that what you were talking about when you mentioned about a loud color for my wide-bodied MR2? I'm thinking of going with Hot Magenta with black/Magenta interior. Welcome to the forum Limey24V! That green reminds me of what they called Rally Green in paints designed for RC car lexan bodies. I once painted a Pugeot 306 WRC body that color.

What's on your playlist?

Thank you, I used to have the soundtrack on CD but don't know what happened to it. I can still hear all the songs in my head but forgotten all the names. I've tried to find it in Itunes but they don't have any from B+T's Excellent Adventure. They only have their second movie, "Bogus Adventure" which I thought was kind of dumb. Got both Tivo'd at the moment, but would like to find both in Itunes. Not familiar with "More Than Words". -

Bass Invaders! Lost In Bass -
This joke is not aimed at any of the GOOD police officers out there as there are some good guy's on the force. This is only a joke for the "bad corrupted ones" Okay? What do you get when you put a bomb in a donut shop? Bacon-bit's!

Well, while waiting for D. O. G. to come back in from being outside, I did some work on the body kit. I have a package of Evergreen sheet styrene in 0.25 mm thickness. Very easy to cut to shape and conform to the curvature's needed here. I used thick CA glue to glue the peice's in place, then I used gap-filling glue to fill in the remaining gaps. I'll need to do the front's next, what you think so far?

Thank you for your input. Maybe it's a ricer=kid pretending he owns a Koenig? LOL! Oops, did I just say ricer? Arrrrrgh, I hate that word!

Real or Model #89 FINISHED!

I thought it was a die-cast. Seems to me I've seen that one before, popular color combination of white with blue stripes isn't it? -
I don't think it's the body as I've messed with it quite alot to get it the way it is now. As I look at the chassis alone, the right wheel is definetly off a bit. I'll post a pic of it later to show you. I know this cause the axle was difficult to insert through the disk brake. What do you think of my color choice?

Aw yes, bass music. I like digital computer-made music. Dynamix II is one of my favorites with two of their songs, Bass Generator, and Don't Touch That Dial. If your hearing is good, and if your a movie buff, you'll recognize the voice of Johnny Five from Short Circuit in Dynamix II's song Bass Generator. two phrases from Short Circuit. "I'm a machine" "They call me droid" Bass 305 is another good one. For DJ Magic Mike, I like Drop The Bass, and M&M's Gettin Off. -
Like we haven't heard that one before! LOL! They teach you that at clown college?
-
Hey now, I like Chucky!

Fill it? Really? Hmmmm, a bit more work than what I wanted to do, but I did ask the question! All right, you guy's want an outrageous color for this, so Tuesday when I have more funds, I'll go to the LHS and pick up Hot Magenta. I'll detail the interior black and "pink". Does semi-gloss black come in spray? I want semi-gloss to simulate shiny leather. I think I'll also CF the front hood and the center section of the rear wing. I know these are mid-engine cars and it's usually the engine cover that's replaced with a CF one, but I've also seen these MR2's with CF front's as well and it'll help brake up the bright color.

Is it normal for body kit's like this to have this open space between the stock body, and the kit? Or should I fill it in with plastic? However, I think most of it will be covered by the wheel anyway as seen here

Awesome 1/43! But the roof line does look low. Look's like sombody at the chop-shop chopped the roof a scale inch or two! Wonder what happened? I've never seen an F-40 with a low roofline like that. I hope whenever I build my 1/43 it look's this good!

Ah, somebody else likes DJ Magic Mike! What's your favorite song from him? -
Good one! The chicken was my favorite. Why did the chicken cross the road? To visit Al Bundy! Why did the chicken cross the road? Cause he was sick of chicken jokes!
-
HA! HA! That one I like! Much better than those stupid Duck bill jokes.

Real or Model #89 FINISHED!
FujimiLover replied to Harry P.'s topic in Real or Model? / Auto ID Quiz
Can you try and find some classic F1's and/or exotic cars for us? And when you reveal the answer, can you tell us what scale, and kind of model the car is? If it's a model of coarse? I'm still wondering if this last one was die-cast. -
This is what I did with my sheet of BMF. I used it to chrome the grill on my KS 500 SL. I did clear-coat over the BMF to help keep it in place. Not my best BMF work as I didn't have alot of surface to work with. But it still look's pretty darn good.

So, I guess the Veilside can have it's chassis back and I'll just build the chassis this one came with and hopefuly I'll get the caster correct this time.
-
Well, I thought I'd cheet by stealing the finished chassis off the Veilside project. However, it didn't work out as well as I had hoped. Apearently the left rear wheel is for some reason at an odd caster, meaning it is further forward against the fender than it should be. Right side look's perfect, Bottom almost reminds me of my KS 928! Unfortunetly, in trying to mount the body onto the chassis, I broke off the front bumper. According to the instructions, they want you to mount the body kit parts AFTER putting the body on the chassis? How is that possible? You need to do all the body work, mounting, trimming, filling, prepping, painting, et'c, BEFORE mounting it to the chassis! By the way, the steering is poisable so it's working just fine. No mis-alignment there.

I knew it, I knew it, I just knew somebody was going to say that!

I guess mine would be 2 Live Crew from back in the day's. I never cared for their X-rated lyrics, but they did had rythem you could dance to and their music made for great mix's. I of coarse have their "clean" version's. I'm also a sucker for the sound track from Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. I love that song they played while they were rampaging the shopping mall and Beethoven was on the keyboards! I think the song was called Play With Me, but can't remember who done it. -
Cool, so ANYTHING goes as long as it's capable of drifting! Awesome! Makes thing's more fun when there are LESS rules to go by!
