  1. Aint that the truth. lol I see I have been here a little over a year now myself.
  2. Well, since it's the start of growing season, just wait a little while and pull a couple ears of corn before they grow too big and try to pop them. Then maybe you can use a sealer on them to preserve them ... LOL!! Sorry man, I could not resist. I had to do it. LOL!!
  3. Cant wait. Wished I had one of those Plymouth's myself.
  4. Looks good. What did you make them out of ?
  5. I like the build and I'm glad you posted the parts on the blower build. I decided the resin blower pulleys would not do for my old school rail project. With all the other details, the painted aluminum pulleys wont cut it. So, I'm getting a set from the same place you got yours. Will put the order in later tonight after I put some cash on my debit card that I use for online use only. That will be the last part I need to make my build look right. Can't wait to see the rest of your project.
  6. Never thought about the BMF. That would make it look real good. By the way guys, I did not mean to fully fab the buckle with brass. I thought just maybe a groove cut with the back side of a knife on each side with a dab of brass paint in each slot would do it. Sorry, I guess I should have been more specific about that. Either way it will still look great. No one ever goes as far as to put the shoulder harness in these cars. Or, at least none that I have ever seen.
  7. Looks good. Just need some chrome paint on the sides and bottom of the buckle and it will look as good as the real thing. If you want to get real correct with them, all of mine had a brass slider inside of them that the belt goes around. So a slot on the side with the end of a brass bar on each end would really seal the deal. Probably going to far with the realism now .... lol.
  8. Great, can't wait to see it. I don't think I have ever seen it done on any Mopar before. Like the rear axle set up in that last pic. It's different.
  9. Are you going to do just the lap belts, or will you install the shoulder belts on the inner roof panel? I don't think I have ever seen anyone install the ones on the roof panel. IT would be a great detail whether they were left hanging down or installed on there little roof mounted hooks. Something different for sure that will add some interior detail.
  10. I think it looks really good myself. Did a good job on it.
  11. That is the movie that you were thinking of, correct ??
  12. Wheels of Terror. '74 Dodge Charger.
  13. Those are some sweet looking cars. I need to find some of those.
  14. I have one of those too. Not a bad little car. I'm almost finished with it. IIRC it was powered by a 327. Either way, I'm doing a little extra on that car. I'm going to make a new plate where the injector stacks stick out of the back. And I'm taking a chevy engine from the old parts packs and I'm cutting it in half. You can already see an oil pan and tranny on the bottom so I'll cut the engine in half and put the injector stacks on it and the new deck plate and be done with it. That way you can actually see the engine between the wheel gaps. I may take another look at it and see if I can just remove the oil pan part from the chassis and install the complete engine. An idea to play with. I asked the question about that once and was told it's still a curb side even if I add the engine since you can't open the hood. lol
  15. Not that I am aware of Nope, it's here for everyone to enjoy. Yes I asked the question I did. Bad A arms just as the other poster commented on bad fenderwell gap I'm not That's why I brought it up Good for you. I would hope so with the other details you are adding.
  16. Since you don't like that gap, how do you like the miniature upper a arms on that thing? lol
  17. Sounds sweet.
  18. Now you know you only find those on convertibles and Hemi car, right?
  19. If you find out, I'd like to know that too. These cars are very dear to my heart. I own 6 of the real things. One is an 83 though and one is a race car. The only one I don't have is a '73. and none of them are an SE either. I'd like to get another '74 SE like my dad had. IT was white with green top fully optioned with sun roof and all. 440 slap stick and Road Wheels.
  20. Thanks for the pics and info. I'll have to look into picking one of those up.
  21. Nice, but he does not look as laid back as the other one I pictured. I had one similar to the one I posted with the wrong helmet though. IT fit perfect in the seat. Is it jointed at the waist and arms so you can adjust it? And what's the cost with ship to Tn. 37160. Thanks for posting it. I have not made a lot of progress on it yet. I've been a little busy with other real world things ... lol.
  22. Thanks. That's what I thought. I can find plenty of BJ clips on you tube, but there's not a lot of Movin On clips for reference.
  23. Nice build
  24. I seem to remember when the Movin On kits were on the shelf. I think the box art showed an aux trans so that means more than one shifter. I don't recall the truck on TV having that set up.
  25. Thanks for those links too. I'd like to do this truck and the one from Movin On. I tried my best to never miss those shows when they were on. They don't make good tv anymore like they used to lol.
