  1. Did the same build as you (Trojan Horse), using the Revell Blue Max & the Slixx decals a few years back, had no problems with the decals, went in the water & came out fine, also had no problems putting them on the car. Always thought the Doheny & Fullerton Trojan Horse was one of the most beautiful F/C out at that time. A little trivia, that car was the NHRA F/C Champion that year.
  2. It's lookin' good Jeff, really like the front end/nose area, gonna be following this build I think!
  3. Not enough putty in the world to make a accurate "Jungle" Pam, (who by the way is still going strong!)
  4. Try Bare Metal Foil, they carry decal paper for inkjet, just make sure you get the white decal paper for inkjet,as BMF carries decal paper in white & clear & also for other printing machines.
  5. Nice Olds, so what changes are you thinking about doing?
  6. Lookin' good!, thanks for the side-by-side of the slicks, never realized the height difference between the Revell slicks from the F/C & the F/E Dragster, they seem the same width tho.
  7. They all look good, really like that Challenger!
  8. O-K, seen a lot of great builds on this here post,& lets see, sister's at work, niece is visiting a friend in the hospital, then she has an appointment this afternoon, I can get hold of the camera & take a couple photos of 2 of my builds, only have 2 here in Tucson, the rest are still in storage in Fl.,neither one is completely done, but I'll take some photos & try to get them up later today or tomorrow. Great idea there Andy, like the cars I'm seein'!
  9. The chassis/engine detailing looks great, waiting to see more. By the way, going by what Mark said above,I think Harry has the right idea, it'll make sure the decals stay together, & it can't hurt either way, just as Harry stated trim the decals real close.
  10. The chassis really came out nice Joe. Can't wait to see the rest when it's totally complete.
  11. The Sidewinder looks awesome John!, the blue paint is fantastic, also like the way the headers (right behind the driver) are split, never even knew Big Daddy ever had or ran a sidewinder.
  12. Quoting Chevy Chase from the movie "Modern Problems"..... IIIIII LIKE IT!
  13. Paul, I've used the Metalizer quite a bit on my engines,I don't always primer my engines & I haven't had any problems with the paint, & when I do use primer I myself use Rust-oleum, it seems to work pretty good for me.
  14. It's too bad the butterflies wouldn't cooperate, bummer ,was hoping to see them in working mode. But they still turned out great, love this build! (along with sooooo many others)as soon as my money comes in I'm planning on getting some detailing parts (Pro-Tech & a few others) for my Pro-Mod builds, plus a camera, so I don't have to borrow the only one in the house, & can take pics whenever I want.
  15. Am really impressed by this build Jeff, really like the way the body is shaping up, from the wheelwell work to th side skirts to the front airdam, it all looks great. (if you have any plans on making any resin copies, let me know, wouldn't mind having one!)
  16. The jig looks good Chris, along with the chassis work, everything seems to be coming along great. Waiting for more!
  17. The Linkages look great Charlie!, Bought some parts off you a few years ago when I was livin' in Fl., (spark plugs, boots, rear coil overs & some other parts),and they all look great. I'll be ordering some more parts soon (hopefully within a month) for my Pro-Mod builds.
  18. The Wheelstander looks great Joe!, the bellypan & the body came out great, really nice build & idea!
  19. Can't wait to see more!, the front end & the rear fenders are lookin' good, keep it up Greg!
  20. The 'vette is coming out nice Jeff, the side skirts/wheel wells really make it pop!
  21. I've seen a few decals made for oil filters & such, on just about any drag racing decal sheet, Revells Funny Cars & Top Fuelers, on the Slixx decals, I have a bunch cut out & sitting in a little plastic bag for when I get that far on my builds, you will also find decals for the fire bottles & other stuff.
  22. I agree with Derrick, don't stop planning on a 1/16th build, they are fun & seem to be more parts being made for 1/16th.
  23. The slicks & wheels came out lookin' good Rom!,like the blue trim on the rim.
  24. '68 Vette!, nice!, can't wait to see this get built up!
  25. DoubleD,the '55 looks nice, like the scoop, haven't seen a box scoop like that in a long, long time!
