This will be built as a Skylark GS as opposed to a GSX.. Paint is Duplicolor GM Med. Quasar Blue. Met. ..Revell really needs to add the Skylark decals to the kit sheet.. WE had some unexpected expenses this month so I'll be ordering the Skylark decals next month, being retired on a fixed income sucks with only so much in my budget for plastic.

Today's progress pics, the wheels & tires are partsbox, along with the bowtie hubcaps... I shimmed the rear springs to jack up the rear end... Engines installed.. She's almost done...

I got this in a trade with Khils.. Paint is Testors Extreme Lacquer Mythical Maroon with 2 coats of Aleenes Clear Gloss after I highlighted the fender badges using the primer/foil/paint/highlight method, they're brighter then the pics show...

Beautiful build, I love the cars from this era !

I had to have lab work today at a different lab because the lab I usually have it done at went belly up because the building sold.. Well not only did the lab move but my Dr. is moving his practice May1.. So, the Dr's office didn't communicate with the lab & vice-versa, so I had to go get paperwork from my present Dr. luckily his nurse was there & fixed me up, then when I got back I was supposed to go right back because I had an appointment, I eneded up waiting over an hour, getting madder by the minute, & I wasn't the only one... Finally I enquired about how long because my ride was waiting on me, she found the paper I turned in earlier & was out 15 min later, it was noy a pleasant afternoon, that & dealing with the incompetence at the USPS really made my day..

What a complete imbecile, he should be flushed, I wouldn't be surprised if we have the same BS going on here in Tallahassee. We have a bunch that don't give a doodah..

We've had major problems here in Tallahassee, major enough that my Congressman had to get involved.. Personally I've had things like packages of all kinds show up say, 10 days late or so.. I had that happen with a shipment from Hobbylinc. I went round & round with the district supervisor over this, she attempted to bully me which didn't work, THEN I reminded her that not only do I contribute to her salary, but I WILL be on the horn with congressmen's office as soon as I got off the phone with her, THEN she accused me of threatening her, & I capped it off with,"this is being recorded RIGHT??? Who's threatening who?". Oh yeah, if you send mail to a Tallahassee Addy. it goes to Jacksonville first, then back to Tally.... It gets better, I'm in the midst of a trade with fellow member & I printed the postage/addy slip at home & personally deposited it in the secure portal, its kinda like a drum half the size of a 55gal drum cut in half, bearings on the ends with a handle, mounted in a steel frame in the wall, from there I guess it drops into some sort of a cart, well guess what, the tracking # hasn't been scanned yet, if it's not delivered by the end of the week I'll do what I have to make it right THEN fight it out with USPS , luckliy it's not a rare kit.... This level of incompetence just totally p----s me off..

Paint is Rustoleum Met. Black,the interior is a combo of Met. black & "Burlap" & black craft paints.. BTW if you intend to build this clear the decals, the gauges came apart which sucks cuz this has a great decal sheet..
