  1. I am loving it, however I really liked the first version much better being fenderless and big ole' whites. The rear Impala is stunning, and personally you are taking away from this important detail with the fenders. They almost clash. None the less, I like it!
  2. Extremely cool!
  3. Congratulations! For me being a basement modeler myself, I could not be happier. She has no idea what is ne and what is not. When i was a main floor obstruction from time to time it was easier for her to take inventory. Now she has given up.
  4. She is as real as it gets.
  5. My first impression was diecast because immediately it looks like it. However the more I look at it I believe it is real. Turned wheels, interior all give me the real feeling. Kind of felt as if it was too easy if it was diecast.
  6. I always wished/hoped for the return of the Vega, but the twister is a fun build. Having a sweet trans kit is a bonus too!
  7. Gregg, Since you mentioned it, are your doors flat without any details or do you put a piece of tempered glass on top? Oh and per your request here is a reminder to get that thing done!
  8. Awesome build and I love the reflection on the blower.
  9. Yellow is my favorite color, however I tend to like red 1:1 cars the best. To me if it is a Ferrari it has to be red or it is just another car. A friend of mine in Miami imports and exports cars from and to all over the world. He once asked me "you know the difference between a Red Ferrari and all other colors of Ferrari's?" About $50K!
  10. Neil, Is there a certain modeling subject you are most interested in? Many companies that offer "accessory items" for models tend to stick with a basic theme (Sports cars, Drag, Nascar, Hot Rods, etc.). Welcome to the site, there are plenty of people here to assist you. In addition to what Harry has mentioned, curbside as of late has also included smoked windows in an effort to not show tha lack of interior. Many times these are built with leftover bits from scrap boxes and such to make use of parts.
  11. I think the new street slang for AK's is Chopper's!
  12. Now there is a modeling subject we do not see everyday.
  13. Earth tone metallics are making a big comeback and for good reason! I will be watching this one.
  14. Looks fantastic Andy!
  15. I have had great dealings with Chris and his products are first class. My only issue I have had was on his Gapp & Roush Mustang II decals they were quite transparent. I would like to get 4-5 of his new Gapp & Roush Pinto decal sets, but he has never responded to 2 prior email attempts to ask if the new sheets have gotten any better. I know Raisin here has done a lot with him and uses / displays his products on a regular basis and ALL his stuff is killer!
  16. Bob, I assumed that and my endless pursuit has come up empty. I was hoping someone was going to come out of the woodwork and have one that the Acme Workshop produced underground or the likes haha. I appreciate the heads up on the X19 however.
  17. Shipping has been free on all Pace booths for a good year now within the continental 48 states.
  18. Cannot wait, seems like this subject comes up and has been discussed every 48 hours. When I started my casting (for personal builds) I simply ordered the Alumilite CD. While very, very amateurish in production, the content and ability to follow along and get it right the first time was easy. Experiment with differnt resins for different applications. It has taken me 4 years to get the quality I like and while it is easy to do, it take time to perfect. Now when the question pops up we can simply direct the topic starter to MCM 09' August/September issue.
  19. To anyones knowledge, has anyone manufactured a plastic or resin kit (body) of the Fiat 850 Spyder (1967 body is what I like) in 1/24th or 1/25th scale?
  20. Harry, I know there is additional costs for every printed page, but to me to really capture the heart of the hobby and in keeping with the true grassroots builder (out of box builds) I would like to see a page or two in every issue dedicated to readers rides/builds.
  21. Rasin's Red Alert and all of his builds for that matter are incredible.

    The Joker

Absolutely love the paint and interior!
  23. August will be a very good month!
