I build this Jeep chassis a year ago, for a seminar during a model show. The idea was to use it for a model, after, you know, I found other project, and I abandoned it. A few days ago, I was cleaning the room (or trying ) and I found it. It is in not pretty good shape, and has some damage. I try to fix it, but in one place was broken. I start to build a new one, different, not with the Jeep chassis look this time, but a regular old chassis. It remind me the Alfa Romeo chassis from the 30's... I don't know why... In this picture the top rail is done (4 parts attached) the bottom one not (1 part). And here the chassis is almost done. I like the shape of the new chassis, but I still don't know what I will build on it, and this is the fun part.

Got it today, I was surprised when I saw a couple of my models.

Thank you guys! @Charlie, for the top part, I used only the cowl from the kit, all the rest is scratch built. The bottom the fenders are from the kit, I scratch built the fender on the inside and the rear cover. Here a picture toke during the work on the body. And before cut the doors...

This started out from the Revell/Monogram 1931 Ford Model A Woody kit... Nice car, nothing to say about it. But my idea was to make a Model A, little more on the "high end" side... Like if Ford a that time decide to compete with prestige cars. I need to admit, that I really enjoyed build it, and I like how it come out. Here the pics... The HAL engine... more power! Some music, from a Motorola radio! The on-off and the etc is on the steering column. Did you remember the tools? I found a nice place for them... And behind the seat there is a fire extinguisher and a little storage, kind of a trunk. :-)

It probably will turns, very large turns... It will be better (on the real) if you add another steering axle.
