  1. Thank you Chris! I'm hoping to going a the GSL, but it depend how is my back/legs. I'm still try to find a solution to fix my body after the car accident. I was hoping to go to the NNL West last weekend, but the pain, and sitting in a car for hours is not a good mix...
  2. This is from a contest in another forum. The body is from a sand box toy, and was molded and casted in resin and sent to all the participants. Here the VW... I already cut a trim on the base. Now more cutting, tires, fenders and windows.
  3. Thank you Steve! I added the unicorn because of is name, and it 's name. Thank you Atin! Thank you Dave! Thank you mike! Fun is always the most important thing! Thank you Nick! Thank you Bob! The tie down, mechanism is made out of paper, the strap is fabric, and the hooks are metal. Thank you Dan!
  4. I had a lot of fun playing with this kit, since I never liked the Enzo Ferrari. The kit is Revell, and I found some issue on the body, rear hood that does not align with the rest of the body and underchassis. Another thing I did not like the seat belts are molded on the seats. The main body modification is on the back, where now it is converted to a UTE.For the paint I wanted it pink, but after I talked with a friend, he suggested to do it rat rod, I liked the idea,so when I painted I let the carbon fiber show trough the paint. I did not like the rims, because they looks smaller than the real one. I kept the tire from the kit and made my own rims.
  5. Nice work as usual! Can't wait to see the gold Porsche done.
  6. I hope to feel better too...because it is 7 months now that it is going on... Still positive, and I still hope to make it for the GSL, and see all the people. Cannot wait for the fun!
  7. The body is almost done.
  8. Thank you John! I'm planning to go, but I don't know yet. Last year I got rearended and my body is still recovering.
  9. I decided to make new wheels.
  10. I drilled out all the holes on the brakes. Left is stock vs right drilled. After drill them out, I check with a rims, and you can barely see the holes... Should have look before... Here all drilled...
  11. Some update. Door panels are done. Engine bay. Another view On the underbody I added some carbon fiber decals, and weathered. I'm not planning to make it a show room car.
  12. Thank you Shaun! Some time a simple solution is the best... Thank you Bruce! Nice to have another Oregonian here! Welcome aboard.
  13. Dasbord done
  14. Here what I was saying about the tail lights. They are all molded in red. So no reverse or clear/amber turn signal. Drilled the center part. Painted a piece of plastic and insert it.
  15. I went to search for it, and it has a pretty cool rear end. Kind of Lamborghini style... Shot the primer, so soon it will be painted...
  16. No no, don't worry... Ok so wasn't just mine that had the issue on the back. Also on mine the back hood did not close properly. Another thing that I noticed, is that the tail light are in two piece and molded in clear red. So you need to paint the turn signal and reverse. Thank you for the advice.
  17. Thank you Bruce! I modified the back, that's why there is a lot of putty. It shouldn't require a lot...
  18. Looking good!
