  1. I stand corrected about my faulty information . I am not perfect and apologize . I do remember Mr. Ed . I was a faithful fan of the show . My parents liked it or we would not have seen it . These were the days of ; one black & white family TV . I remember the Larks his wife drove . He drove both a Lark truck and Lark Wagons when those became abvailable . I remember especially the roll top roof wagons of '63 & '64 . Tha Avanti in the episodes I believe were test drives . Thanx ..
  2. I will respond to this . Well done . I like the overall look of this build . Not my cup of tea , please keep them coming ..Thanx ..
  3. This is a Maseratti . A real on at that . Thanx ..
  4. The Green truck pictured here is in the NATMUS Museum . It is a '58 FWD . The second factory offered 4 WD in the US . Dodge was first after WW II with the Power Wagon . So , Studebaker is the first to offer 4 WD as an option on an existing model instead of a whole different vehicle . Of course this is in the Modern Era after WW II . Yes , I am another lost buyer of the Studebaker Truck line . I just cannot seem to get everything I want . So , I am happy and greatful for the blessings I have . Thanx ..
  5. Well what do you know , a French Car . You got me again Harry . Out of 17 , I did manage to get one right . Hmmmm .. Please keep them coming ..Thanx ..
  6. I know I've seen this one . My vote is I don't know . You got me on this one Harry , again . Thanx ..
  7. I know , I am just not telling ..Thanx ..
  8. Nice build . The distrubitor was named the "Octopus" . Trying to replace the wires was trying to fight the eight appendeged sea creature . No simple task . Shure nice to see the Flivver power . The pinstripe and fuel tank are nice touches . You did well with the airbrush . Please keep them coming .
  9. I like the entire thing . I put a "Nerd Screen" on my Sportster just after I got it . I was 50 years old with minor back and neck problems . To aviod exaserbating these issues , a Windshield was the better course for me . On this model I find it very appealing . Sure it won't go real fast for the screen to deflect much cruel wind blast . In a downpour the driver can scootch down and not have the face pelted with little hurty pains . Thanx ..
  10. In a word , Modelhause for the Honey Comb Wheels . Thanx ..
  11. A real model . I did see all chrome handle grips when I owned my Sportser . None for me ..thanx ..
  12. If I remember right , old time (50's) dirt Stockers where I lived used a driveshaft generator to get more power to the dirt . A Hudson Racer told me and showed me the set up on his consistant winner . Drawback ; keep it moving . Nice collection of parts and pieces . Just right . I appreciate the Audrun Flattie . Thanx ..
  13. Just right buid . The background is excellent . Modelhaus has these wheel covers . The '68 & '69 Darts have these wheelcovers . Just do a search for Dodges of the day to find the correct colors and where to put them . Black circle with red centers or red circles with black centers . I don't remember which . My '69 Charger SE and my friend's '69 Dart GT have the same identical wheel covere . The dog dish are 'Hub Caps' . Covering the whole wheel , "Wheel Covers" . Thanx ..
  14. Hi Harry ; Dreaded red X's for me . Thanx ..
  15. PM me . I have a complete Beturra '26 "T" kit . From it , I can send you the entire rear suspension . Thanx ..
  16. Blue model . Thanx ..
  17. Ok , what is the frieght on the complete kit to zip code 46703-7574 please ? I will have funds after the Christmas Holidays . Happy building ..God Bless you and yours ..John JR. Landgraver

  18. I use exclusivley Whestlies for removing mold release . I found it will safetly strip a failed paint proceedure . Also another warning about resins . I was contemplating the purchase of a Dehydrator . Never place a resin into a dehydrator . It will melt at a lower temputure . The pourings aren't completely a consistant thickness . Some areas will yield and succumb to the heat faster than others . Thanx ..
  19. Just right . Museum quality . You did justice on this project . Thanx ..
  20. Yes , these pictures of Car Haulers . Very nice indeed . These are mostly "gas" jobs . Doesels didn't become real Popular until later times . I don't know when for sure when the diesel revolution occured . Fule milage was the key factor for the switch . The '50 Ford Flathead is a "gas' Job . Thanx ..
  21. IMHO , the Tournament of Thrills would never use a totally enclosed trailer . The loading and unloading is ; 1) extremenly time consuming 2) awquard and hazardous 3) the above impossible to do in anything but a bright sunny day All the acess to the tie downs are now in the dark on this kind of trailer . Very difficult to even see where to attach toe hooks to the underside at the proper locations . The trailer is very norrow due to the enclosure . There are width limits for Trucks . These are outside dimensions . I had a long conversation with the Designated Driver of the Leaseway New Car Hauler for the GM Auto Shows during my time as a Car Hauler . One side is harder as the panels don't open as far . You have very limited space to get leverage to work the tie down chains . I don't recall which side or why thos is so . Just the Nightmare . Open trailers would suit the Tournment of Thrills . Thanx ..
  22. A short answer is look at the magazines for Model Building techniches . I hope this helps . Thanx..
  23. Thank you Jeff . God Bless you and yours ..John JR

  24. Ed Fluck Jr. cast one . He also did the Packard Predicta . Excellent work . Thanx ..
  25. I like this one . I did the tail panel blackout to my '60 Bel Air tudoor sedan . it had a matching set of leakers . The I 6 Idiot light flashes on , stop and add two quarts of oil . The awsome slip and slide powerglide slipped , stop and add two quarts of tranny fliud . Life was much simpiler with my '60 Ford Fairlane . A non leaking I6 and a manual trans , three on the tree . I didn't have to carry a case of Oil and a case of tranny fliud . Oh the memories this triggered . Thanx ..
