Been there , done that . This is why I started again in 1984 . Talked out of "things of a child , you lay down as an adult ." I gave myself up . I moved from Youngstown , Ohio to Angola , In. during 1990 . I only was stolen from after I moved here when I had my collection in a Storage Unit . Women should be glad to have you in the house , enjoying their company and involved in a Hobby that keeps you home with them . IMHO . Great build , now please keep them coming ..Thanx ..

Aussie '78 Ford Falcon XC Cobra Coupe
dimaxion replied to MrBlueOval's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
There are resin alternatives to trying to find anchient parts for Falcons ; '60 - '69 . At least '60 - '65 . There is a '68 falcon out there . I don't recall who . If anyone knows , please let me know . Tthanx .. -
Yes , but not the B.A.T 9 . It is the earlier model . B.A.T. 4 or 5 . The one the fins wrap around the back and almost touch the rear deck . I have plans for it ..to own it that is . If the name should not be here , moderators , please delete the name for me . Fisher Mold and Pattern . I have the Cunningham ('53-'54) . Otherwise ; <rocketfin.com> , go to Model car links at the bottom right of home page . Enter B.A.T in resin search . Nice build , this is a super small model . Kudos and thanx ..

A few questions for Johan fans from IMC
dimaxion replied to SteveG's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
I , like another response here , would not buy another re-pop of a Seville release I already have . My finances just don't provide this . May I suggest : '64 Polara . I am in need of three of these . '56 - '57 - '58 Plymouth Furys . These are halo cars , limited production , color and equipment restricted . The '59s were a seperate model subject to full options . '63 - '64 - '65 - '66 Studebaker Larks '64 - '65 - '66 - '67 - '68 - '69 Ramblers '65 Marlin (change grille from the tooling , wheel covers) . Re-pop the '66 Marlin '67 - '68 Ambassadors and any others you can do '67 Marlin ..this is a bash of the '67 Ambassador and previous Marlins '68 - '69 - '70 Javelins The '71 - '72 - '73 - '74 Javelin AMX kits were all made by Jo Han . How about these for all 4 years . There was a time you bought a Javelin AMX kit and didn't know what year was in the box . Javelins all 4 years . . not the Javelin AMX's . A falt hood , without the overcowl air induction , spoiler on the deck and AMX grille . You would only have to tool up three grilles . The '73 - '74 was the same . The actual AMX grilles are a '71 with an ovelay attached . I will support you with my purchases . I am sorry I could not afford every one you make . All these I would buy . J8st not all at the same time . Thanx for this oppertunity . -

In the U.S. , the more chrome on a Big Rig , the more it is customed for the driver ..Hoooonk ...Thanx .. -
Modelhaus ..top Quality . R&R ..not sure . A good seller for him . Ask Steve . Thanx ..

Everyone involved assembly proceedure hated the Edsel . It was viewed as an interruption and a nusiance , All of the Gee Wiz Bang googles were par for the course and de-rigure then as now . You just would not sell a mid '50's Medium Price Car without gadjets . I loved all the Edsels . I was 8 . I would have bought one . I wasn't permitted to buy one in High School . My Father didn't want me to buy an Orphan . Insted , I bought the Corvair he wanted me to own . Shudder ..BTW , he also nixed a '58 Packard Hawk in beautiful condition . Ooh , also a '60 T-Bird : too fast ! Image ..The Edsel didn't have one . If introduced in 1955 , the target MY , I think Edsels might still be with us . IMHO on that . A perfect example of the right product at the wrong time . Your model looks to be a well preserved and maintained working for a living car . Nice , real nice ..Thanx ..

Naw , Model . The door is a giveaway ! Weight on the tires notwithstanding ...Thanx Harry !

I still like my Idea ..lol

W.B. in the early days of "Collectable Automobile" there were scetches of "name the auto parts" . You were to pic out the doners for the hideous creation presented in front of you . This car is one of those . Thanx ..

I have stated before . A first build , it is amzing . My first was a glue bomb . Nice work . Please keep them coming ..Thanx ..

Mo Par powered is perfect . You must have spent some time in one of these tri-fives Chevies to know the truth . The only thing missing is the dents in the trunklid from people pushing to get the deadling off the road . Good catch on the wedgies to keep the window up . Also the failed attempt of duct tape on the rear right window . The inner door is precise . The many little details make this a quite unique and complete model . Is the exhaust rotted out or is it brand new to avoid an unwanted attraction of the local Police ?? In reality , many cars in the '60's looked like this in the one the Steeltowns . The one I grew up in located in the rustbelt . The leftover '50's beaters . Thanx ..

Harry , would you please include "not sure" as a choice . This way Jantrix and I could be correct more often . There might be one or two others wanting this option . Thanx ..
-
Model . Missing the windshield and some other not quite done looking details are my clues . Thanx..

Mustang , Shelby ; you had my attention there . Rush , you will do quality like this in due order . I suffered the same anxiety at 13 . Be glad you have sites to go to . We didn't in the day . The Whimbleton White and Gold are perfect . Just right ! Thanx ..

I am sorry about the double post ..

Big "E" Fan , green paint (two times) , wide whites ..Yes ! The Edsel never did get a dedicated Assembly line . Could this happened in the '59 MY ? It was much malinged and considered a intrusion and nusiance to the flow of the line by the workers and management both . This vehicle bearing the name Edsel never did get a fair shake . Just like the person , Edsel Ford ... Thia model is much more than just right . Ylou did this much justice . Thanx ..
