  1. Most of the retired Trooper Cars in Ohio got the treatment . "Old enough for re-paint and young enough to sell" , (Niel Young) . Earl Schieb 'muddy water' is the name of the {Paint} I called this "most excellent shade with GE Silicones for enhanced brilliance " stuff I vaporized with a Binks 69 on innocent peoples cars . I cannot remember the official name for it . You made this just right . These warhorses got this either before or after the Wholesale Event Thanx ..
  2. Go to <rocketfin.com/model_cars_links> , scroll to the bottom of the page . Highlite model car links , and left click . Find Micro Mart (tools for hobbiests)and find resin in the catalog . See starter kit . I hope this helps . I found it quite useful . Thanx ..
  3. I just have to reply to this . Well done . After Mustangs , the Edsel is my favorite car too . I also thought the engine compartment was freshley power washed . It is only lacking patches of missing portions of paint that came off with the grease and oil . That was caked on through the years . Do you think it will make it through the restoration ? Thanx ..
  4. It was an Indy Pace Car , converteble . Thanx ..
  5. One word Incredibile ! Thanx ..

    TSUNAMI

First of all , this is a nice build . Secondly I am glad you survived your fall . I understand the fun you had with the walker . I have to use one anytime I am outside our home . This being away from things I can grab hold of familiar to me in the house . I really only need it instead of falling down . Did you beat anyone in Drag Races with the walker ? That competitive urge still exists . I can't do much about it but to do a Walter Mitty . Thanx ...
  7. I know what you started with . I've finished two TKMs . About to finish the third . You excelled with this build . I just cannot add anything for a compliment that hasn't been already said . Thanx ..
  8. Just right . The Factory Stock is my favorite . It is what I build . Very nice build . Thanx ..
  9. I like it . Well done . Thanx ..

I believe if you are going to talk about the Love Canal , don't leave out the Deerfield Dump . These two nightmares caused the Super Fund . This Honey Dipper is outrageous . Everytime I see on of these now , this build pops into my head . Thanx..

Yes it was a Promotion with Exxon . The Red line tires that appeared on the first '64 Models were not released for public sale until the car was released .. The GTOs were hyped like the Monkeys . Long live the top of the heap . No matter how the king got there . Nice Build . Gooe replica . Thanx ..
  13. Hello , I feel cheated not seeing your builds here . I am depraved of your projects . I am thick skinned when I post . I look forward to all types of criticitism when I put my builds up for comment . Please re-post and keep them coming . I don't post many responeses on this site . There is so much to see daily . Thanx ..
  14. I have a '57 Century made by R&R . It is a complete kit . Needing wheels/tires to finish . Contact Steve Kohler for one of these . I have a connection with this model . Actually two of these Centuries . I failed at the first paint sceme . Purple pond . I am about to try the other . Sorry , I want to keep this one . The Century script is missing from the sides . I am casting the one from the trunk to make these . Thanx ..
  15. Yes , I agree . I am a Factory Stock builder . If I am going to buy a glue bomb , I'll restore it . I won't buy it for parts . Please make the stock parts and I'll be a buyer . I have your '70 GTX body as my first try of your products . I need it to complete a '70 Road Runner . I'll be back . You do nice work . Thanx ..
  16. The '69 Chevells did not have the divider chrome strip from front to back as on the '68's . On the SS model , this was painted flat black . it is hard to see . I believe you did not place this moulding on the body . Nice conversion . Just not my cup of tea . Thanx ..
  17. Amazing . I think he will like the replica and appreciate it . Proud also of your results . Thanx ..
  18. Help me please ? I am intreged . How do I get ahold of his products and shipping information ? I gotta try . My 2 cents ..Thanx ..
  19. I have had kits worse than that . I am talking Injected . At the least , you have plenty of material to make the hood fit right . Casters make the hoods too large , period . No one here seems to remember the '80's ? The Kit makers decided to reduce the thickness of the plastic fron .40 to a thinner thickness . As a result , many kits had to be sent replacement parts . Totally unusable in the box . Thanx ..
  20. Harry : I got around the dreaded Red X . I won't even begain to guess what this is . I know I come up with original ideas . Nonesuch on this one . Thank you for the Grey matter stimulii . Thanx ..
  21. Uh ..Harry ..the dreaded Red Xs ...Please help and fix ..Thanx ..
  22. Real as in real nice . Thanx ..
  23. Alrighty then . How about a '55 Studebaker Front bumper/hood/tailight/conversion . The Packard V/8 to complete the conversion to a '56 would be an additional bonus . It is available from R&R . I have been wanting to make a '55 Studebaker President Speedster in Lemon~Lime since 1955 when it was introduced . I can still smell that car after a hard run . Anyone who has casted Studebakers wasn't sorry for doing so . Thanx ..
