I go back and look at my old builds. I find one I could have done better and rework it or start fresh from scratch. This enable me to think about my next build as I rebuild the old one.
Anytime a new large scale kit comes out we should be thankful. When it comes to large scale you take what you can get. It might be a good idea to get one just for investment purposes, look how much Pocher kits have gone up.
A Ford GT40, Lotus/STP turbine indycar, and a '68 Charger. Not all at the same time. It was a fun race and it inspired me to do more racing/sports cars.
I tried to thin my collection last year. It was a big pain in the butt. After 3 months of
trying and only getting rid of 3 kits, I gave up. I'll just find more storage and keep them.
Good luck
Looks to be a little more detailed than the Monogram version (which I've already built).
It seems to have a lot of potential for detailing. Now lets's see what it goes for in a couple of months.
I use a rounded off toothpick to move them around. Grimreaper is right, the key is to keep them wet until you get them in position, then I used the corner of a paper towel to wick away the excess water.
I, for one, won't miss Rants 'n Raves. I rarely went there, but when I did it was all about things we have no control over. Such as bashing model manufacturers, "someone cheated me", or "why can't everyone build like me". Kudo's to Greg.
