  1. ;)I'm a "view new posts" guy on all my favorite forums. Saves me from reading stuff I'm not interested in.
  2. Hey, I think the box art is great too! Too bad the box isn't in better shape you could display along side the car.
  3. I know where your coming from. I went to the hobby shop to get paint and I forgot primer. My nearest hobby shop is 58 miles away, needless to say, I haven't started that kit.
  4. Nice job on th CF. I'm doing CF on a Indy car and it can be a pain. I hope mine comes out like yours. CF really slows down a build, but it's worth it in the end. Keep up the good work.
  5. Harry, we don't need to put up with that stuff, just ban them. Let them go to some other forum they put up with that stuff.
  6. You have my admiration for starting something like this. Keep us posted!
  7. I like Model Express, great service, good selection, and great prices. Never had a problem with them.
  8. How about metal axles! Good Greif it's the 21st century for cryin' out loud. They can think up a better way?
  9. Yes, I'm working on a Poucher Alfa also. I bought it partially completed off ego-bay. I'm in the slow process of dismantling the wire wheels and rebuilding them correctly. It will take a while.
  10. It would be a hoot to see them run at Laguna Seca. I think it would draw a good crowd on either coast as there is more interest in road racing there
  11. I think sometimes people take advantage of the fact certain products are hard to find. Even up here in the forgotten north, you can buy Tamiya paint for MSRP ($8.50) a can. Some on-line sites are selling it for $5.50 a can if you are willing to buy in bulk and don't mind the shipping costs. Let us know how the black rubber paint works, I'm interested.
  12. I love it! What a great looking model. I too have a soft spot in my heart (or head) for those old British cars. I wish there were more examples to build.
  13. If you do scratch build them, be sure and resin cast the bodies. I'm sure a lot of people would be interested in them (I would). How about a TVR 2500M?
  14. Fantastic job!!! F-1 kits are a real challenge. I love them.
  15. It's a nice site, but I'm a member of 4 or 5 forums now and there is only so much tread on a tire.
  16. I tried "automodeling.com" and got nothing? Maybe the site isn't up and running yet?
  17. You need to see an ALMS race in person, they are a ton of fun and the tickets are very reasonable (unlike CRASSCAR).
  18. I not trying to hi-jack your thread, but why was that they jacked up the rear end? To make the tires fit? Nice job anyway.
  19. That's the best thing that could happen to the General Lee Charger. IMHO Great work, quite an imagination.
  20. Nice work, I really like the fender flares. Did you scratch build those? If so, nice work!
  21. I know this kit has been done to death, but I love it. A great kit and a great build! Keep them racecars comming!
  22. I never though of them, a good suggestion. I'm sure I will be able to order $25 worth of stuff
  23. Anyone have a good on-line source for the dreaded carbon fiber decals? I need to start some F-1 kits and I'm gathering supplies. By good I mean reasonably priced.
  24. Very nice work! I'll have to start one of my F-1 kits and add it to my unfinished pile.
  25. Thanks for your help.
