  1. That's an incredible amount of work, and all beautifully done! Great color choice, perfect for the mid 1950's. Sam
  2. Nice builds! The 57 is going to be great in those colors! Sam
  3. Great save of a gorgeous design! Great work! Sam
  4. Here's a Revell 49 Merc I built as a Christmas gift to a friend. Purplicious paint, purple flocking on the seats, wired engine. Nice kit to build, gotta do one for myself! Sam
  5. 96% - I switched the 52 and 54 Merc's or I would have had 100%.
  6. You can use real plywood. I've gotten birch plywood for R/C planes down to 1/64" thickness. 1/32" thick would be about 3/4" in 1/25 scale. Hobby shops should have it. Basswood works good, too. Sam

    AMTs 41 woody

Great looking woody! The wood looks completely real! Gotta love those old Ford woodies! Sam
  8. Wow, great detail for 1/64 scale! Nice work. My eyes would fall out working in that scale! Sam
  9. I forgot about this one. It's an AMT 25 T roadster built circa 1968, then rebuilt in 2003. Lower right of photo shows how it looked before the rebuild. Power is a Buick V-6, I think from the old AMT Opel GT kit. The frame was shortened about 6 scale inches. Exhaust pipes are titanium wire, blued with a torch.
  10. I'm going to say model, and it's a good one!
  11. Here's my 66 Mustang with a resin 6 banger from Ken Kitchen at Kitchen Table Resin dropped in.
  12. Now that's different....and really cool! Nice work! Sam
  13. Beautiful! It does look better with fenders. Great color choice, and it's really well done. Classy looking rod, I Love it! Sam
  14. Stunning! Great design and workmanship! I like the taillights in the bumper guards - very cool idea! Sam
  15. Beautiful model! Tres bien, mon ami! Sam
  16. Great job on that Impala! I like the wheel treatment - gives it a stoplight racer look. Great engine bay detail, too. Excellent work! Sam
  17. Nice, clean build. The side windows are a nice touch. Good color choice, too. I built this kit about a year ago, and had some fit issues. Still a nice kit, though. Sam
  18. I just finished this Revell 69 Charger. It was a Christmas gift from my son. I don't think I ever saw a model of one done in yellow, but Dodge offered a yellow color close to this Krylon color (called Bright Idea), so I went with it. Wet look clear over the yellow. It's a stock build with plug wires added. Here it sits down at Dad's Garage. The hood has a little twist in it - won't quite close on the driver's side. I messed up the air cleaner decal, but I'm not going to mess with it now. This is a great kit. It really shows how much models have improved in the last few decades. It went together well, although the chassis was a bit warped on this model. Glue and clamps fixed it. I hope you like it. Sam
  19. A very nice piece of Mopar muscle! The color looks dead-on. Great build! Sam
  20. Wow! That looks good! It must have been a lot of work, but the results are great! That will really pop in your model! Sam
  21. "Satan black"? Sounds like a hell of a color! lol! Sorry, Kevin, I assume you meant satin black, and made a typo. I couldn't resist the joke. It was too easy, especially for one called evilone! I hope you're not offended. I like the Imperial. Gonna look cool! Brings back memories for me. My first AMT 3-in-1 kit was a 58 Imperial, back in 1958! When it was finished, mine looked worse than your "before" pic. I was 9 years old then. Sam
  22. OUTSTANDING build! Really nice with lots of character. Nice job on the wrecker bed and boom! Love the tire bumpers! Sam

    Low down T

That's REALLY nice! I like T buckets and that one is as nice as any I've seen. It looks good slung low, but not dragging on the road. Great colors, and engine detail, too! Parts box builds are fun! Sam
  24. Nice, clean build. The grille really adds realism. Great color choice! Sam
  25. Very nice! I'm not into the big wheels, but those look good on the Camaro. Maybe it's the dark spokes with just the rims in chrome, rather than having a giant wad of chrome. Nice color, too. Looks good! Sam
