  2. A great rendition of one of Ford's best! Great color scheme, and workmanship! Sam
  3. Very cool! Nice to see a body style other than hardtops and converts, or Nomads. I would drive that real one in a heartbeat! Sam
  4. Another typical Lyle Willits build - perfect! Outstanding work. Great colors and smoked roof. Love it! Sam
  5. Maybe this is out of bounds, but I always loved the chariot race in Ben Hur. Not exactly a chase, but it's a masterpiece of action, stunt men, film editing, and drama! It was made in 1959 when special effect technology was nowhere near today's level. For car chases, I vote for Bullitt. Sam
  6. Great pics! I love the 48 Ford woody with the boat! Looks like the old (circa 1960) AMT boat & trailer kit. I built one back about that time. Oh, it was a beauty with its thick gray brush paint job! Hey, I was about 10 years old back then. Sam
  7. Great diorama! It's like history rolling by. Great details on the wall and fence. The paving crew and machinery is superb! Sam
  8. Very cool! I like the conservative sleeper look of the gray and red. Good build. Sam

  10. Tony, that is great! Good design, looks like it could be real. Very nice detail work on the interior. I've built a couple teardrop trailer models, but this is way cooler! Nice job! Sam
  11. Cool pics! I like the custom Valiant, or is it a Dodge Lancer? Sam
  12. Looks good, Janne! I really like the interior colors. 57's are cool! Sam

  14. Nice pair of Deuces! That color grabs my eyes! Sam
  15. Nice job on the old Chrysler! You don't see many of them in model form or full scale. Sam
  16. VERY cool truck! Looks like it's had a hard life. Great weathering! Sam
  17. HOLY COW! That is amazing work! I can't imagine building something that complicated from scratch. What a magnificent job you've done. The CAD work alone must have been a huge task. Very impressive model! Sam
  18. Lookin' great, Lyle! You're giving me ideas for my 53 Ford, which I also got at Ollie's. The interior on yours is great! Nice work all around! Sam
  19. Great color scheme, and those fat rear tires look mean! Sam

  23. Very nice! Great color, not so gaudy like a lot of choppers. Great detailing, too. Those last two photos could go in the Real or Model section!
  24. Here is a quick project I just did for fun. I found this Jeep on ebay, needing a rebuild. I planned to take it apart and paint it, but it was glued too well, so I got the idea to make it a muddy mess from running off-road. I put it together, added a roll bar, and gave it a coat of clear. I was thinking about what would look like mud, and came up with the genius idea to use.....real mud! I took a clod of dirt from the garden, left it dry out, then pounded it down to a fine powder. I added water, then slung the mud on it with a 4 inch paint brush from about 2 feet away. I brushed some more in the wheel wells, on the wheels and chassis, and left it all dry, then sprayed it with flat clear. Thanks to gray07 for the windshield wipers (originals were missing). I masked off the wiper path before the mudding, then peeled off the tape while the mud was still wet. The driver figure is one of the Ulrich mini-men. It was fun slinging mud, and not being a politician! Sam
  25. Grocery getter? I think attention getter is more like it! Those colors really pop! Very nice wagon, really well done. The thin red stripe and red line tires really add a lot. Sam
