  1. Nice Bird, Ron! The 61 to 63's are my favorite T-Birds. Looks good in black and white! Sam
  2. Beautiful Chevy! I'm not really a Chevy man, but I've always liked the 59-60 models. This one is just about the nicest one I've ever seen! Great work! The Camaro grille is a nice touch. Sam
  3. Another beauty, Lyle! Great job! Brings back memories. I have that same Galaxie model from the 1960's, built stock. I have a stock Galaxie for every year from 1959 to 1970 (the 70 might be an LTD), that I saved from the old days. I discovered R/C airplanes in 1971, and didn't build model cars for 30 years. Now I build both! Sam
  4. Wayne, that's looking really cool! All that old paint was a blessing in disguise! I like the effect it made. Nice work - should look good when it's finished. Sam
  5. Very nice rod! 32's all seem to look good. Great color, and the grille does really look good! Sam
  6. The last Beetle I built was in about 1969, so I figured it was time for another one. I got this Revell ragtop model from ebay, and built it totally stock. It has a lot of fiddly little pieces, but went together fairly well. The color scheme (Krylon Banner Red) closely matches a real VW convertible owned by a guy near my home. The old beetles are cool! I'll add a license plate later. Comments welcome.
  7. That looks like something Godzilla would drive!
  8. Incredible build, Harry! Just about perfect. You are a craftsman for sure! Sam
  9. Beautiful model! Superb detailing. It looks real -could have fooled me in the real or model forum! Sam
  10. Excellent custom! Great paint! Really nice work on this car. Sam
  11. I stopped in at the local Ollie's in State College, PA today. Got a 53 Ford for $7.99, and a Dodge Rammunition monster truck for a step-grandson for $9.99. Pretty good deal, I think. The 1/32 kits were $7.99 there - same as the 1/25's. Seems like they should be cheaper. Sam
  12. Great looking rod! It's a good blend of traditional and modern elements. Nice! Sam
  13. Very realistic! I could just imagine finding that in an old man's barn, covered with rust, dust and bird poop!Nice work! Sam
  14. Nice! It looks like a real junker. The twisted radio antenna and half rolled up window are nice touches of realism. Good work! Sam
  15. Great build! The silver and white gives it a whole different character than the pastels of the 1950's, or the bright hot rod colors. More elegant, maybe. Very nicely done! Sam
  16. Wow! "Little" racer is right! Is that HO scale? That's amazing detail for that scale. Very nice work! Sam
  17. Great job on that Starliner. The 1960 Fords are some of my favorite cars. Yours is really well done. Great colors! Sam
  18. Really cool hearse! The boards are well done, and really make the model! That chair is a nice touch, too. Sam
  19. Very nice Merc! Great color! I like the DeSoto grille better than the stock one. Both look good, though. Nice work! Sam
  20. That should make a great model of an unusual subject! The 3-tone paint job will be cool. People will do a double take, thinking "oh, another '57 Ford.....Wait a minute!" Sam
  21. That's a beauty! Great colors and details! Engine bay and interior are really nice! Sam
  22. Great concept, and very well done! GM shoulda made one! Sam
  23. Cool truck! How about sticking a rusty old Harley in the bed? Sam
  24. Looks like it had a hard life, very realistic. Nice weathering work. Sam
  25. Nice parts hauler for the garage in the background! Clean and simple build - looks good! Great looking diorama, too. Sam
