  1. Very Nice! Love the color. AzTom
  2. Can you post some info on the 41 Willys? Thanks, AzTom
  3. I got the same answer from them. I have a real 06 crew cab dually and I would love to get my hands on a cab. I haven't found a die-cast in 1/25 - 1/24 yet, that would work for me. I may end up buying the ambulance and either selling the bed or building it with something else. AzTom
  4. Hey George, You can't get rid of us die-cast guys that easy I'll follow your work anywhere you go. Welcome Back! AzTom
  5. Sorry I missed your response. I don't do any wheels except for resin casting some steel wheels. All the wheels in the guide are wheels and tires made my dis-cast model companies. I just photographed them and listed them for reference in wheels swaps. I was not aware of that McLaren being reissued. I am not a fan of those race cars but I may pick that kit up for the Chevy engine and what ever other parts I may want. I hope they reissue the Dune Buggy, That would be cool. AzTom
  6. That's too cool Brian. Being a farm toy collector I'm liken this one. I think the 4430 open station, no cab, would have a yellow seat so that would go well here. You could mix some black and maybe silver trim, you have that on your leaping Deere emblem. Is it going to have a belly mower? AzTom
  7. Looks clean and sharp to me, Very nice. AzTom
  8. Thanks guys. Sam, I have the kit and plans to do a Model A from a 1/16 Minicraft kit. We had a Model A that we used as a torch wagon at out wrecking yard for years. I just need to find our old photos first. AzTom
  9. Here's the AMT Merc on ebay complete with ramps. http://cgi.ebay.com/AMT-TOURNAMENT-THRILLS-49-MERCURY-COUPE-MODEL-KIT-/190456025025 Sounds like a fun project, keep us posted. AzTom
  10. Chuck, That is a wild ride. Love the little details ... that Exit sign cracked me up. Now .... I'm not sure about that grenade shift knob .. I mean the pin is still in it but the car looks like the grenade has gone off at least once already. AzTom
  11. Cool! AZ could use a few of those along the boarder Tom
  12. What he said. Those are too cool! AzTom
  13. Back in the day it was common to see old trucks cut down into tractors. This one was cut down and used as a "Torch Wagon" at the local wrecking yard. It is a 1/18 diecast model with scratch built frame and bed along with few modified parts from the Junk Yard. AzTom Hosted on Fotki [url=http://www.fotki.com]
  14. I think this is great, I just finished one that can go there. It would be nice though if the "Diorama" and "Other Models" could be up with the other more model related sections, say right below "Big Boyz". AzTom
  15. Thanks guys. AzTom
  16. That will be a cool project for sure. Greenlight has a 1980 Trans Am coming out that has that front end on it. The Pace car is the first due out and several others early next year including the Smokey car, maybe it'll have the wheels you need. AzTom
  17. I finished this one up. It's a 1/20 scale diecast Hubley kit that I bought as a junker. Complete build Also in "On the Workbench" section. Thanks for looking, AzTom As Found [url=http://www.fotki.com]
  18. Both look awesome. That blue on the Mustang just grabs ya, Very nice. AzTom
  19. Nice start. I like the dip stick idea. AzTom
  20. Thanks Guys, Dan, Sorry I wasn't able to make it Saturday. I made some brass traction bars and added the license plate. See Under Glass. [url=http://www.fotki.com] Thanks to all that checked in on this project. AzTom
  21. I like it the way it is because as mentioned the input from other builders is priceless. Shoot, I took this as everyone is talented but only a few can finish a model uninterrupted. AzTom
  22. I'm not agreeing that it's right to over charge for shipping, but saying you can ship a kit anywhere US for $5.44 is very misleading. You can only do that on a kit 1 lb or less with NO insurance, with insurance it's $7.19. There are very few kits that will ship for 1 lb or less, most kits weigh between 9 to 15 oz without the shipping box. This is based on a calibrated shipping scale, maybe I need to use the bathroom scale Having a daily pick-up account with UPS, I can usually ship UPS cheaper the Priority Mail on anything over 1 lb. I'm just saying, Tom
  23. I sold our store 4 years ago so I'll have to check on that..........Yep, Parma still has them on their web site. AzTom
  24. Thanks, I could drop it in the bed of a Nylint Econoline pickup AzTom
  25. Thanks Dan, What swap meet, I didn't get anything in the mail???? I plan on going to Andy's Hobby for the Tuesday night get together. AzTom
