  1. That's a 1949-53 model, my favorite year as well. AzTom
  2. That is a cool looking truck. Did you do the weathering? Do you know what it was used for? Looks like the boom extends too far out the back for a standard wrecker. AzTom
  3. That sounds cool, any photos? AzTom
  4. I added an album of "Detail" shots to my Fotki. These are close ups of wheels, engines, parts or whatever I think I may need someday. AzTom Detail Shots
  5. Here's the Ertl one, It's a 47. I have not measured it but it looks correct. AzTom
  6. This may help as well. Original 48 Ford Ad.
  7. Those are so cool. We had a Model AA Ford we used as a torch wagon. That's where the idea came from for the Model T I built. I'm hoping to find some photos of our AA so I can build it. AzTom
  8. Very nice! These look so real I'm surprised they don't actually rust away on your shelf. AzTom
  9. Well ... it's all over! What a great time. The Grandson and I went today, Sunday and checked out everything that came in since Friday. I added many more photos to both albums. AzTom Brian, Railfreak78 Congratulations on your two "Peoples Choice" awards.

  15. I have about ten packed up ready for tomorrow..... Hope you guys like custom die-cast .. that's about all I have Printed tickets on-line, Both camera batteries are charged ... I'm ready AzTom
  16. That is cool, thanks for sharing. For what it's worth it is a Case-IH not a Case. Case does make construction equipment and has for years but their dump trucks are the large articulated off road type. The Case-IH is the Ag division and the 4300 was made mainly for fertilizer spreader boxes. They also make a sprayer using that cab on a hi-crop chassis. It looks like it makes a nice heavy duty dump truck and those flotation tires would be great on muddy construction sites. I saved the photo in my To Do folder for a future project to convert a 1/64 sprayer that Ertl makes. AzTom
  17. Well, it looks like five of us are going to be there I'm hoping the grandson can make it Sunday with me. AzTom
  18. Oh My! A tow truck, don't get any better than that. My favorite type of truck. AzTom
  19. That frame looks sooooo realistic. I need to play with that hair spay stuff, have another torch wagon I need to do. I'm going to try and sand off the ribs, at least the top two and glue small half round styrene strips on to make the 38/39 cab with three ribs. Can't wait to see where this one is heading, looks like 1 ton rear wheels. AzTom
  20. That weathering is absolutely fantastic! I don't get the holes in the passenger door though, that rib is stamped with the door and not removable. Seeing those rib lines up close bums me out. I just bought one of these kits to replicate a 39 Ford I had and hadn't really looked at it yet. That is still the 37 cab with a 38 nose. AzTom
  21. Looks great Brian, The Lawn mower is a nice touch. You know JD actually worked on franchising a lawn care service back in the 80? Look forward to seeing it this weekend. AzTom
  22. I'll see you there Friday Dan. I may even bring some models?? AzTom
  23. Great pics of some awesome cars. Brian what day are you going, looks like Fri for us. AzTom PIR this Sunday
  24. They were working on a roadster version a while back, wonder what happened to that? AzTom
  25. So that's how you make your models look soooo real, you're using real rusted tin AzTom
