  1. Now that's what I call a work space! Awesome. AzTom
  2. My brother had a 37 Chevy pickup with a Hemi back in the early 60's. Although it looked like today's rat rod I don't remember using that term back in the day. AzTom
  3. I have a few promos, my best being the 65 & 67 Corvette, but the 50 Studebaker is my favorite because my uncle gave that one to me when I was in 8th grade. Speaking of the plastic promos wasn't there only a few that were actually painted rather than molded? AzTom
  4. That is too cool. I love the way you make it look like real rusted metal, incredible. AzTom
  5. Looking great! No offense to the Ratties but I'm happy to see it shiny. AzTom
  6. I forgot about Brookfield, I have a few of the Chevy Crew cab Duallys and Suburbans but never saw the Ford. I'll have to keep an eye open for that one. The Chevy may work for Ian though. Thanks, Tom
  7. That's scary,lol. Nice build Tom
  8. Finishing up another one that I started about five years ago. AzTom [url=http://www.fotki.com]
  9. Great start on the 32 and even better quality time spent. That's Awesome! Rick, She needs to stay with it, she built some nice models. AzTom
  10. Lizards??? Wow! I have a lot of them in the yard, along with Black Widow spiders. I'm keeping the Black Widow under control, You have to after them at night as they are nocturnal. I wasn't worried about the lizards, ... well until now, in-fact they help control the crickets. Will the lizards chew into master cartons? AzTom
  11. Those look awesome. What scale are they? AzTom
  12. I googgled "Revell (History makers) 280mm Atomic Cannon" and the first listing states it's a 1070's re-issue of a 1958 Renwal kit. AzTom
  13. Lookin great Brian, Can't wait to see those yellow stripes on it. AzTom
  14. Here is a JD tractor that was made by Ertl back in the mid 60's. It is 1/16 die-cast and someone had replaced the front wheels and the rear wheels were broken. As Found Hosted on Fotki Filled in the seams and added a PTO shaft and 3 point hitch brackets Hosted on Fotki Made a custom steering column and added levers. Hosted on Fotki Added 3 point hitch and converted it to a wide front. Plus nice coat of paint. Hosted on Fotki Some duals, some fat front tires, front weights and decals and it's ready for the museum. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Thanks for looking, AzTom
  15. Tom, Thanks for posting this. That looks like the IX Center, is it still on the chopping block for the airport expansion? I would love that type of show, something for every interest I have, cars, trucks tractors, old planes ... you know what I mean, AzTom
  16. That's cool Chuck, brings back a few memories AzTom Hosted on Fotki
  17. Does Alumilite date their packages? Smooth-on does that with an ink stamp on the box. They say it has a one year shelf life. That said I just poured some parts with 4 year old resin. AzTom
  18. That is awesome Chuck. I was at an antique engine show Saturday and just up-loaded almost 400 photos, several of those engines including a 19hp, HUGE engine. I have a lot of detailed photos showing where oil leaks and that kind of stuff for reference. Antique Tractor & Engine Show AzTom
  19. Now that's the kind of stuff guys come here for, Great info. I have original sales brochures for the 1980/81? year. Here's an old photo I have. If you guys want I'll dig them out and see if I can scan them to get full size ad load them up to my Fotki. I also have brochures for the bus chassis, the F-series and the L-700-9000? 20. Incredible! Looks like another show winner John. AzTom
  21. I use Smooth-on with great success. I don't know what PMC 121/30 is but if you want a 1:1 mix go with the oomoo line. When I had the store I sold Smooth-on and a lot of model guys used the oomoo. I use Mold Max 30 but you do need a gram scale for it. Oh, ya, I have never used mold release, these are silicone. AzTom I did try the Alumilite because it's available locally out here but I did not care for it. A lot of guys do use it.
  22. Awesome Chuck, I enjoy this one every time I see it. AzTom
