  1. We have a winner! x-acto knife. AzTom
  2. Another nice one Chuck. That paint looks like an AZ sun beaten sand worn finish. I like it. AzTom
  3. Very nice build. I made an attempt at one of those AMT 36 Fords a few years ago so I know you used some serious model skills on that one. AzTom
  4. That is best model I've seen on here so far. Beautiful! AzTom
  5. Anyone know what this thing is? It is 5-1/2 in long and pivots at the rivet. AzTom
  6. Now that is sad. I would think now more than ever that some relative would appreciate those items. AzTom
  7. Nice start, I like the Ford cab way better. AzTom
  8. The one on the left is a Co-Op, the yellow L&G in the back is an IH. I have several thousand farm tractors, are you looking for a particular A/C? AzTom

Very nice! I like the side window look. AzTom
  12. Not sure about the Petty car but I found this on the Tony Nancy car. "Finished in blazing orange, the absolutely immaculate, center-steered ’29 Model A roadster was the first of what would be a long line of Nancy’s famed 22 Jr. racing cars. The “22 Jr.†racing number was partly derived from the fact that Nancy favored the number “2â€. Also, since he was competing with a smaller-displacement engine against competitors with much larger engines, he added the “Jr.†suffix." Tom
  13. You deserved it Tim. I hope I can build like that when I grow up, problem is, I really don't want to grow up It was nice seeing you. AzTom
  14. That's cool Chuck. Imagination at work! Tom
  15. Thanks Guys, Harry, That is the plan
  16. It was a great show, sold more than I thought we would and took some hardware home I did meet a few more new guys from MCM this year but still missed some of you again. We need to get them to announce a get together during the show or wear MCM badges. I'm starting my plans for 2012. Tom
  17. I have had this planned for several years and just never got to it. Well a few weeks ago I felt up to getting out in the shop. The body is a 1/18 diecast that I stripped and cut the front end off of to make a body shell. The AutoTwirler (Rotisserie) is all scratch built from brass except for the nylon wheels in the casters, they are from a finger skate board. After it was assembled I airbrushed overspray on the mounting brackets and a mist over the lower half. Thanks for looking. Complete Build Hosted on Fotki

  22. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Be Safe, AzTom
  23. The photo Barry posted is one for vacuum wipers and it looks like the AMT is for electric wipers. It's only going to make a difference if you plan on plumbing the engine. I may have a photo of the electric wiper version if you can't find one, I have a 56 1/18 on the "To Do" list. AzTom
  24. Art, Ertl calls it 1/25 scale and my notes say it's 7-1/2 in long, give or take. Mine is packed away so I can't give you exact measurements, sorry. AzTom
