  1. Paint is looking really good! On my laptop, that orange looks like it has some metallic to it. Is that the case or is it more of a straight color? Regardless, I like it.
  2. That's a beautiful green, this one is going to look smoking!
  3. I hadn't seen this truck before. It's pretty sweet. The article linked above says they built 3 of these for filming and all started out as '56's but were customized to look like a '55. That must have taken some work! I really like the Desoto grill under the modified stock front. Pretty trick idea.
  4. Very pretty. Love the color choices and the detail in the engine bay. The interior is so clean too. Great job.
  5. A lot of very cool stuff happening in here! Too many things to comment on, but everyone's builds look great!
  6. By the way, Doc, nice job on the roadway diorama. The pictures look great, especially set out on that old road!
  7. Yikes, that's pricey! I think I've been bit by this mouse bug...imagine it on the Meyers Manx frame. Would be a cool buggy too.
  8. I'm pretty sure it says "Logitech" on the back, in the first picture. It looks a lot like the Logitech wireless mouse I have at work. ...Found it by searching Google images. G9X Lazer. Sorry for the big pic.
  9. Talk about stepping out of the box! What an awesome concept! That mouse body is a GREAT starting point! I have an old mouse sitting around here somewhere too. You'll have to forgive me if I happen to copy your idea at some point! Imagine that fit around something like the Bat-Pod chassis... What great inspiration!
  10. This one is tough, but I went real. I'd love to see the whole thing though, regardless of real or model.
  11. This came out great, Mark. I really like the pearl white paint on there with the CF top.
  12. I put some work in on the Hangman over the past few days. Worked a little more on the mini gun and began working up a scizzor lift for it. I got some double tread diamond plate from Scale Dreams as well, and after cutting to fit and covering with some BMF, I'm starting to get some protection for our driver and passenger. I really want to use this green hand that was a halloween cake decoration at one point. I plan on making some spikes for the finger tips. I'm just not sure where to place it on the front, but I added it here for effect. Lots more to do, but it's coming together!
  13. Awesome, thanks for posting that. I'm going to go look for some this week and give it a try myself. Looks like it might be just the thing I could use for some rustyness!
  14. This has me intrigued, Mark. Can you show a picture of the products you are using in this 2-part system. Near as I can tell it's some sort of metal paint you applied and then expose to water and probably some other chemical(s) to create real rust very quickly, but I'm curious what exactly you are using. I'm assuming it will need some sort of flat clear coat to seal it when it's dry so you don't get rust-dust all over everything and have it rubbed off.
  15. Feel free to use this pic Doc, same from a few pages back, but to make it easy:
  16. I built up a mini-gun yesterday from some parts box pieces and some aluminum tubing. I might re-do the barrells. It's really hard to drill small holes so close together.
  17. Went real this week after much deliberation.
  18. As promised, here is a little update on what I am affectionatly dubbing "The Hangman", because sometimes you have to hang them zombies out to dry to get your message across! I'l let the pictures speak for them selves. I scratched up two side tanks. One for the "go-juice" and the other for hydration. As I imagine it, H2O would be in short supply after the apacolypse and it would be wise to keep a large supply hand. The trick is to not confuse the two. I've also started on the body armor as well. There's lots more to come where that is concerned. Thanks for looking!
  19. Oh I'm in, I'm working and getting inspiration from the tread here at the same time! Hopefully I'll post some pictures later today on the progress, I did some painting yesterday.
  20. Happy birthday Doc!
  21. here's the merc that I've got going as well. Just getting started on this one. Going to have to do some heavy armor over the front to protect the blower.
  22. I'm in on this. I've got 2 builds that I'm going to play around with. First one is this, a modified monster truck: The other I just started messing around with and will be a AMT '49 Merc. I don't have pictures yet of that one, but will soon once I get a few things mocked up to see how it looks. This build is just too much fun. I've loved looking through all 40+ pages.
  23. I ordered some tires back in November and got them around the end of December. Around one month turn-around or so. Not too bad, but it was only 4 tires.
  24. Sorry guys, no progress to report right now. All the models went back in boxes during a very busy December and the first part of January isn't much better! When things slow down a little bit this one will be pulled back out first and you all will be the first to see it!
