Steve let me start by saying I love your builds and generally agree with you but,is this completely true? I seem to remember Revell doing some metalflake translucent plastic '62 4-dr Darts (that transformed later into the Revellion ?? funny car with a Nancy dragster frame) and some Valiants in the '61-'63 period at the very least. There could have been others.

Way kewl ! Beautiful conception and completion. These kind of models (Industria Mechanica / Maschinen Kreiger et al ) are fun and a great change of pace. I always admire those builders who are unafraid to chop up some pricey resin to get a model that only existed in their head ! Well done !
