  3. Yeah. If i had it to do over they would not have went on. Cant change it now. I wish i could have found some true fire decals but none were available. Some guy on ebay has some but they dont show on dark bodies
  4. My wife's cousin from up the street wanted to borrow my new 400 dollar chain saw to "dig the roots up in his front yard. I simply told him. There are a few thongs you dont loan out. Your cain saw, your loan mower and your wife. He asked why. I said they will come back knocking or kncked up.
  5. Hey larry. Welcome. Cant wait to see your builds
  6. I bought a bunch of testors kits from there. They had all kinds of millitary jets for 16.00. The kits were reboxed Italeri kits that run 45-60 bucks at my lhs Just waiting for them to get another buyout. They only have cheap lundburg kits now. Bought a few. never will waste even 3 dollars one one now
  7. Not much room for any interior items. I have to cut the seat down to get it in there. The roll cage of this kit was a challenge. Especially since i cut many of the locators off making room for the jet.
  8. Just sprayed testors wet look lacer over a model covered with carbon decals. Be careful. Light coats especially on old decals. Test with any decal not used like kit name/manufacture. Hard to tell in the pics but the black is carbon fiber sheet decal.
  9. Make sure you just got paid and take all of it with you when u go to buy. I was gonna jump in the an fittings thing but the price put me off. Way off
  10. I was bornd and raised a Ford man but the Chevy II has always been one of my favorites.
  11. Nice model. Keep up the good work
  12. I am inspired to do better models now. Thanks for the build and sharing it with us
  13. I just could not leave the kit decals off the model. I love decals. They are my favorite part of doing a model. It does take away from the theam a bit though.
  14. That is cool. I am trying to pound out a halloween build my self.
  15. Im pretty tired, i think i'll go home now. - Forrest Gump
  16. Looking great
  17. Got the simi gloss on the body in prep for the carbon fiber. Painted the jet with stainless metalizer. Washed it with black and hit the tubes with some gold leaf. All that was toned down with some titanium metalizer. Got a few more tubes and dodads to add on.
  18. Looks great. You should add some carbon decals where needed. My i suggest KAModels carbon sheet b. keep up the great build
  19. I make pulp. It stinks but pays the bills
  20. I had an idea to build a Halloween car. My idea was to make a car that the booger man might drive. I started with the Revell 55 chevy pro street and a old star wars pod racer. I cut and hacked together two of the pods jets to make one jet that was the lenght of the car. Then i tubbed out the tubs to make room for the jet. Had to cut out the trunk and transmission tunnel. I am going to flat black every thing and do a full monty carbon wrap on the outside. I may put red leds in the jet to give it that spooky look. May also put red leds in the headlights. So. What do you think a good name for this should be?
