  1. Very nice, I love that color, specially with the white interior.
  2. Great start man, why not use the kit supplied sombrero hubcaps and white wall tires?
  3. I hear you can make a custom version? Anyone w/ pictures and review of the kit?
  4. Great work on a difficult kit Cruz, those Enthusiast Series kits by Fujimi are pretty challenging to put together but as usual, you pulled it off well. I too prefer seing the rack unmolested, kinda gives the car a better look. Too bad the engine is hidden in the car, I saw your WIP pictures and the engine looked really cool when you displayed it on the stand. Your paintwork looks phenomenal too.
  5. I am ready to start on a '49 Revell Mercury and would love to see some of you guy's work here for inspiration. Don't have to be a Merc, just some good, old fashioned, ground hugging monsters. Thanks!
  6. Thanks Cruz, that is a nice little build there, I will be ordering mine soon, fastback and sedan!
  7. Thanks my friend! Now, can you post some pictures of that Corolla? Where can I get them? Who makes it?
  8. Thanks for sharing Cruz! Question? Did you do the stacks on those webers? If so, that's pretty impressive.

    Cobra!!!

Looks awesome Cruz, can't believe how well those alcladed parts look, for the life of me, I can't seem to get the alclad to look right even after reading your advice.
  10. Hey Cruz, I actually thought it was you with another Pontiac build. Nice job on this one, interior is exquisite.
  11. Avoid it if it bothers you so much?
  12. I know Harry, sounds kind of dumb but, the reason for the question is that I have a friend that has a few of these in his house and after seeing his collection, I went out and got one, I just thought I could see a few built to get some ideas since the wheels on the kit are not very atractive. I am just wondering how would it look with different rims or different styles of building?
  13. Just won this off e-bay today, has anyone here built one of these? I need some ideas please.
  14. It's a good idea but only if it looked to scale. Sorry.
  15. Hey Cruz! Any updates on this build? Really interested to see what are you up to with it.
  16. Hey Cruz, is that Boyd Coddington next to you in that picture to the right?
  17. You ain't kidding Casey! Cruz, not only do I think you are an icredible builder but you surely put the icing on the cake by sharing this, it even goes into sanding and polishing the paint. I sat through all the videos, twice! Can't get enough of it. Thanks man!
  18. I've had my Mr. Surfacer primers for quite some time now and I am ready to use them. Any recommendations out there? Which number should I use with what application? Please help!
  19. I am building a 1967 Vette and would like to know what to use to duplicate the shielded ditributor wires used in that era? Any ideas?
  20. Looks like a cool project, I would suggest to tone down the distributor wires, they are a bit out of scale. The Matador body is pretty unique though, I like where your'e going with this.
  21. I keep seeing these omitted in so many projects it's not funny anymore, great paintjobs, no panel lines. Why? Are they that difficult to work with? I know it has been brought up hundreds of times but I also think that it's something imperative when it comes to the completion of a model, it's something that must be there.
  22. I'm torn between the Caddy and the Catalina but that Nova looks awesome too, I also think that a few more pictures can change the outcome of the votes.
  23. Turned out awesome man, this is just the engine, can't wait to see what else you will be doing with this thing.
  24. Cruz, as usual, you are doing a terrific job on this model, I too have heard of the challenges these Fujimi Enthusiast kits can have, it's good to see a builder of your talent attacking a project like this. Can you elaborate more on the weathering method that you use? What do you use as far as washes and overall techniques?
  25. Can't believe how real this thing looks on that second picture. Why didn't you use P/E parts on this as usual with your builds? Probably customer option?
