Man...I'm missing all the fun and killer work
-
Last one,I promise (for now-insert evil scientist's laughter here )... Here is a taste of some local-in-the-city-singletrack that I have access to (I often ride to the park, ride some of the many trails, then ride home ). This was a nice cool down after having just finished all of the parks "Advcanced Skills Required" trails Note: Yes,I did in fact drag my teenaged daughter 3/4 of a mile up the trail to shoot that video...but in my defense,it was an easy section, and it was HER idea,LOL! Been riding almost daily for a couple weeks now,in addition to doing a bit of "Bike Picking" (think American Picker-LOVING the Mer minivanfor bike purposes so far )... Enough so that one day I hauled a total of NINE scores home in the Merc, now my shed looks like this (in addition to seven stored indoors... )... I'm hoping next year to build a double-this-one's-size shed behind it (taking up what's left total of the yard...no more mowing, yay!!! ),making a shop fo work and repair in that one, cnnecting to this one,a pace to park mos of them...I'm even thinking of a sort of "Daily Yardsale" used bike and repair service, flipping lots,restring/rat-rodding some, for eg I picked this ladie's 1970's Free Spirit 3 speed up for only 20 bucks, this kiddie Huffy for free, and this NEXT was my daughter's before her new one came this year...the kiddis could be sold for 20 buck or so wth a simple disassembling/cleaning/lubig/adjuting,and that Free Spirit a bit more... Hmmm...sorry,I seem to have lost the pic of her old NEXT 20"er

Olskoolrodder replied to whale392's topic in Community Builds
That looks smoooooth! -
Been in a slump, mosty brought on by a combination of lack of time, cylcing and my spinal issues acting up (not related to or corrisponding with the cycling). I'll be trying to get going this week on something (not sure what),and this Friday starts that 96 hour build elsewhere I'd mentioned, building an AMT '25 Model T for that...I'll get on that Bullitt soon after that though,it's ALMOST done,LOL! No,believe me,if I was building,I'd be posting I go through spells with modeling, like everything else...I'll do nothing but sling glue for a time, then won't have any interst for a time while I'm off doing something else,LOL

Fox Chassis (Ford) community build anyone?
Olskoolrodder replied to whale392's topic in Community Builds
Nah,it didn't make me cry...I knew what it was already, and how rare. The guy who bought it ran it through the other auction tonight, trying to gethis money back. There's MUCH better lighting at this one (despiote being the older, more run down of the two auctions),I took a much better look at it,as well as "Ride and Drive" drove it...rare yes (assuming that windsor he claims is a 5.0L is a factory 5.0L),but in need of major work underneath that shiny new paint to be a dependable driver, and otherwise it looks to be a major resto candidate-NOT that either of those are bad things, mind you....but out of my range of abilities anymore (financial or the physical ability due to my spinal injuries). I remember a friend's brother owning a black body/top red interior GLX 5.0 ragtop back in the early 90's,his was automatic,I always wanted that one,LOL! -

Man...there was a clean '83 GLX ragtop 5.0L/auto ran through an auto auction last night (1:1),had I known I'd actually SELL my '94 last night (couldn't pass up that bid,LOL),I woulda bought it for $1,400....sigh,I own no Mustang anymores (spoke'd here cause it is the Fox thread ) -
